ESPN2 FOR EASTERN

If you don't have regular cable, I have two suggestions...

Sling TV is $10 for the first month... ESPN2 is on the Orange package... NOT the Blue. If you choose Sling, that gives you an entire month to deal with their wickedly horrible interface and glitchy DVR. You can watch a whole month of Paranormal stuff on the Travel channel though.

Fubo TV gives you a 7 day free trial, perfect for cancelling right after the game. I haven't tried them since they were brand new a few years ago, but it was brutal with glitches, so I would join on Thursday or something to make sure ESPN2 is working like it should.

I give you this information because somebody was asking 15 minutes before the Poly game.

I got Sling before the UW game, and other than Pac12 Washington cutting away to the WSU game (which is not Sling's fault), I thought it worked well.

I did the free trial with FuboTV and that worked great as well! The only downside (Not Fubo or Sling's fault) was the PAC12 Network wouldn't show the replay of the Washington game at all.

I'm planning on doing another free FuboTV trial for the EWU game too, using a different email address and credit card.

Yes, that was flawless until the end.

I would try that on Friday or something like that, just to make sure (Or switch your VPN city if you use one). I forget what service it was, but I got caught trying to use a different email and CC. It might have been Playstation Vue, which doesn't exist anymore.

Then again, I could be wrong now. Hulu gives me a free Month to 3 different emails every 6 months or so, and Sling had no problem with me signing up for another $10 Month with the same CC I used last month.

They just hope people will forget to cancel is what it comes down to.

Well, Fubo is doing the same glitching now on 2 channels. It freezes, then catches up to where it should be. That's why I figure this crap out now, might have to pay $10 for Sling again.

Tv Crew for the game: Clay Matvick, Rocky Boiman, Tiffany Blackmon

The PAC12 network just moved the UM game coverage from the PAC12 (WA) to an adjacent channel on Spectrum when the WSU game started. I think I missed one play figuring it out.

I was just checking out ESPN+ for late games, and searched for us. It has it, with the normal "Your game hasn't started" page like every other game going forward will have.

Supposedly, we needed ESPN2 for it, and I'm on the Fubo free trial so I don't care, but I would have liked to know that.

I'm going to check it at the end of the 1st or something to see if it's playing or if I get the message that I don't have ESPN2 on my Charter cable like it shows for ABC, NBC etc.

If you do not have access to ESPN2 through your cable or satellite package, you will get a message when you try to watch the game. Trust me I've been down this road before.

Probably. They should just pull their heads out and have ESPN. That's it. $6 a month or whatever, and nobody has to figure out what sub service carries the games and what streaming service carries that.

But, we are good for the rest of the year.

Or an easier way to solve it would just be to have an ESPN online app that you access through your satellite or TV providers login, and a separate ESPN+ app that you log in with your ESPN+ credentials. It's constantly confusing this way.

Yeah. It's fine with the ESPN app, but it should be all available for the $6 a month or whatever. ESPN used to be the biggest charge on a cable bill at $6. Every other channel was barely $1 or less than that. They should be ecstatic to sell their channel for that again.
