fuzzy this and fussy that a whole bunch about how fantastic Nevada this and Nevada that and how great coach Fox is and how Nevada goes a whole 7 count em 7 DEEP and then after talking about everyteam in detail in the bracket did not have 1 single iddy biddy thing to say about Montana but that they thought MONTANA would get BEAT for the 2nd time in two years :lame: :lame:

Seems like they could be creative and suggest that Montana is fourth in the nation in assists and 5th in the nation in field goal percentage but ...... although it upsets me now it is perfect for Thursday

They just said they are getting paid to break down all the brackets and tell us about players and coaches. Over payed, over payed, over paid, over paid

Dont worry, when we beat Nevada then they will start to realize. Next year will be a great one for Montana basketball

So true. Remember in '03 when Weber St. played Wisconsin? Nearly everyone picked Weber as their Cinderella and possibly reaching the Sweet 16. And Wisconsin turns around and basically dominates the game from start to finish and ends up making the Sweet 16.

Look at '95 and '99 when Weber beat Michigan St. and UNC. No one predicted that Weber would even come close, and they ended up pulling two huge upsets for the Big Sky and being crowned a Cinderella for those two tournaments. And in 2000, with Harold Arceneaux and Eddie Gill returning, it was expected that Weber would repeat their '99 performance, but it turned out that Weber had the two top players in the conference, but no one else other than those two and ended up losing in the first round of the conference tournament.

Thanks to all I am feeling better already and am wondering if I should be on the scene in Salt Lake or in front of the tube to better judge the shock value.

Giving Nevada praise is not an insult to Montana, it is good for Montana - we need to support other mid-majors. God forbid if Montana should lose in the 1st round I am the biggest Nevada fan in the country.

Analysts don't decide winners and losers, but they influence seed. By building up Nevada it does 2 things: 1) if Nevada wins it is good for all mid-majors and minimizes a BSC loss for next season, and 2) if Montana wins it means a real victory, not a gimme over an over-rated WAC team.

The WAC and MWC are good basketball conferences, reminiscent of the BSC in the late 70's early 80's. Any close outcome is good for the region, and I have never been so excited about the job the selection committee did.

yeah i was listening to it too.. and i was frankly not to shocked at all about the amount of info the provided on Montana which was NONE the didnt mention a single name they summed up our entire season in one joke which pissed me off. but to quote swill they will see.

Let them look past us. I don't care. All I saw on the Griz today was in the Detroit Free Press they had an article saying if you are a Montana alum and you can't watch the game (as we get the Big 10 games) that you can watch it free on the web. A local show had the coaches from Belmont and George Mason on today. He says he wants the coaches of the lower seeds on as they give better interviews than a Coach K or Izzo who answer the same ones more than a hundred times a day. I was gonna try and call so see if he could get our Coach K on.

I caught ESPN's Doug Gottlieb this am and found it hard to believe he played for Okie State. More like Syracuse or Seton Hall the way he whined over the likes of Utah State and Air Force selections over Cinncinati and other venerable NCAA regulars like Maryland. And oh, he disputed Montana's #12 seeding. Just more predictable bias from the "Right Coast." Same old song, next verse.

Most of these guys are idiots. Like Billy Packer yesterday. He gets asked a question about a seed and starts talking about teams that haven't even been announced yet. The Digger Phelps sees his picks on the board for Final Four and says " are those my picks?" Then we have that A Hole Dickie V and his Duke lovefest. I think Vitale is one reason so many people hate Duke.
