The huge nation-wide TV exposure for NDSU was great, not-so-much for m cats.

Those signs poking fun at state are hilarious.

Yo, Orgungriz, when the SU's from the Dakotas applied for membership into the BSC, the presidents decided it had to be a unanimous vote for admittance from the BSC schools. (Don't know how the vote played out). The AD from Sac State is Terry Wanless who from 1990 to 1999 was the AD at UND. You can bet the farm/ranch that Wanless wanted no part of NDSU again, which to me is rather strange since during his tenure, the two schools (UND and NDSU) split the ten regular season matchups. IIRC, NDSU won a D-II playoff game against the Whioux during his regime. UND, like NDSU, didn't have much problem with the South Dakota State Jacks during that time frame. This could have been a MSU esque type business decision.

Gameday was great on Saturday.

6-7K people down for the festivities.

The only 2 fanbases in the FCS that could represent the true nature of FCS football would be U of Montana and NDSU.

Wa-Grizz would be a great atmosphere for Gameday also.

BTW, loved watching the Grizz kick the sh** out of the who on TV....

NW MN, eh? My dad was born/raised in Roseau/Badger/Greenbush. My grandmother passed away last November, live all 100 years in that area. Also got a bud that lives in Billings, MT from Hallock. :thumb:

When are those f-ing Bison pansies going to realize their AD is not good at negotiating contracts? :?

I fully expected to see that idiot with the elk antlers in the background but apparently he prefers to run alongside the peloton in the Tour de France.

Well, I think it could be argued that Montana State just kept delaying coming to Fargo until the buyout was low enough that they could exit the contract in a year that the FCS allows 12 games. The original contact was back in 2005 and that was bought out and then renegotiated in 2009. In 2009, a buyout of $100,000 was a good amount but in 2013 that number ended up being too low. I think it could easily be argued that Montana State never intended to come to Fargo based on their actions. That is my opinion.
