So with 1 arrest for rape and a couple of minor incidents on Pflu's watch does that justify his firing?? or Oday's ??

yes, one man's minor incident is another man's major incident...

Well just read this in Bleacher report about TJ

"Johnson is also a four-year starter who has experience at a high level of play as someone who is on a team that is used to winning. Johnson also has had a run in with the law but it looks like something minor. However, that could be enough to take him off Thomas Dimitroff's board."

Maybe we need to reevaluate whats major and whats minor......... wouldn't it be a shame to loose a career over what here was..... well How was it handled benched for a quarter and a chewing out????

Opti has a good point. I think both O Day and Pflu would still be around if they had showed some anger and resolve about the off the fields trouble. Instead Pflu comes out with his support of JJ. JJ may well be inocent and unfairly charged .
Opti, it seems I am ageeing more and more with your post...until the season begins.

I am having trouble understanding the firings of Oday and Pflu, I have always said that I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed so I'm going to write the the way I see things and sit back and read the responses to see if any of you can enlighten me to better understand the reasons for the firings.

Lets first assume that the Tru/kemp incident was nothing more than the loud party that was busted by the Police dept. I assume that since both pled guilty to Disturbing the Peace and nothing more than that. I know that more allegations were made against those two but none turned into charges.

So lets now assume that Brian Maus did not have a breath test done the night of his accident and that he did have a concussion thus making him appear intoxicated. If that is true, that makes the incident nothing more than a accident on a very narrow and dangerous road.

Now lets assume that it is true that the Missoula police have copies of certain text messages from the "victim" in the JJ rape accusations that state that she was going to f*uk JJ the night of the supposed incident, Making this nothing more than a case of false accusations against JJ.

I know that there also has been other accusations of rape, but to my limited knowledge there has only been 1 arrest. So I am left to assume that the there was no evidence or not enough evidence to warrant arrests in the cases where no arrests were made.

I cant wait to read your replies

Man, that's a lot of assumptions. And you know what they say about assuming.

My assumption is that T&C knows what he's talking about.

Really? So if a girl says she's going to f*** you, then changes her mind but you have text messages to the contrary you're good to go?

I'd go to court on that (as the defendant). Not saying right or wrong, just that the prosecution has an uphill climb in loose rock making their charge stick with that evidence. May be a case where nobody wins, but still and all, the prosecution doesn't have much of a case, if the only other evidence is he said/she said.

Exactly. When it comes to he said/she said and there is proof that she said what he said but no proof that she said what she said she said then there is a good chance that what he said she said is going to hold up in court over what she said she said.

Okay, after reading that, I officially am grabbing me a beer. :thumb:

Nope, but if those are the only basic facts, they're a good indication that she's not telling the truth, and there's no way the guy will get convicted.
