"ENGSTROM PRESS CONFERENCE TO EXPLAIN FIRINGS"

Hypothetical April Fools Day Storyline:

1. Player aka “”P” breaks up with girlfriend aka “X”
2. “P” gets drunk at party.
3. “X” takes player home.
4. X sleeps with P
5. X thinks P loves her
6. P says no, we both made big mistake.
7. Scorned X cries rape
8. P suspended from team
9. Police investigate and say no rape, no charges
10. Coach knows the whole story
11. Coach welcomes P back to the team.
12. Coach states that P is of good moral character
13. Female faculty revolts
14. Weak president relents to female faculty pressure
15. President forms a firing squad and executes department leaders

Of course, this is purely a hypothetical story for April fools day and I would never suggest or imply that any part of it my have some basis in fact.

As the previous poster said, “ Happy April Fools Day”

"Firings" was the first clue. If it had said "non-renewals," I might have fallen for it.

You continue to dazzle with your keen perceptions. But "non-renewals?" Brevity, my boy, brevity.
You may or may not have ever read a newspaper, but clearly you never worked for one.

More realistic than hypothetical.

"UM keeps mum on reasons for O'Day. Pflugrad firings"

I'm guessing you've told the Missoulian by now that you were way too smart to fall for their April 1st headline? :thumb: Tool...

That's rich coming from somebody whose avatar looks like something between G Gordon Liddy and Gregory Peck in The Boys From Brazil... but humorlessness?..that only works as a big point getter in Scrabble.
