True story - when UM was a University level football program and MSC was a College lever program one of the roadblocks to creating the Big Sky Conference was UM demanded MSC reduce scholarships and MSC demanded UM increase scholarships. Full circle.

MSU is currently offering guys partials, but increasing those partials to full ride schollies with NIL money…..UM has lost numerous recruits to MSU just in the last recruiting cycle as a result of this…..colter Nuanez reported it today in his skyline pod, and it has been discussed on here as well. The NIL is already impacting recruitment at UM…..it’s why there is a big push right now to get our collective on the move. It’s VERY important

It’s not the P4 teams our NIL needs to compete against. It’s schools like MSU, Wyoming, Utah State, Nevada, UNLV…..etc that our collective needs to help us to win recruiting battles over. MSU is already winning the NIl battle, and has beat us for recruits as a result. On the NIL front we’re losing the arms race, and need to play catch-up in a hurry, which is why there is an apparent sense of urgency from hauck

We're not competing against any school on that list accept MSU. There is not one potential recruit picking Montana over one of these schools Wyoming, Utah State, Nevada, UNLV…..including the etc ones. Come back to reality. Pay our coaches more before any money goes to a player. We have witnessed how the foundation of a program is weakened when you hire inadequate coaches.

Iam with homegrown. How does IC know there was no NIL offered. Seems to me the Big E coming to MT. would be a perfect example of NIL used wisely.
