Employment termination

Not sure how much of a problem the offense was today, but the defense was a big giant dumpster fire.

Lifer fan no bandwagon here and our coaching sucks right now. Horrible calls on both sides other than putting hyphonator in the game.

Don't leave delany out! Who's brilliant idea is it to run the ball almost every play in the last 2 mins. That was the most piss poor coaching performance since...well, last week and the NAU and EWU games. Can we start the search for a real coach? I hate losing, but losing the way we have been losing to these mediocre teams is unacceptable.

Look, I know the cliche, "players play and coaches coach," however, as high as I was on Ty Gregorak at the start of the season, I'm officially off the bandwagon. Same for Delaney. I thought very highly of them at the start of the season, and now have no faith whatsoever. Same for Shalon Baker, who really should be fired, because it is his unit that is really the culprit right now. Delaney, however, is the coach who lost this game in the end, because he is a terrible coach when it comes to clutch situations, which rely upon intelligent game management. His team had the ball with 2 minutes to go in the game with a tie score. His defense had been unable to stop UND's offense for the entire game. Logically, he should be shooting for a game winning field goal, or, at the very least, running out the clock and going into overtime. He had the opportunity for overtime, and passed it up. Once we ran on 3rd down and didn't get the first, there was less than 1 minute in the game. He should run on the next play, and hope his team gets the first down, in which case he has a timeout to take. If we didn't get the first down, then he should have let the play-clock run down to nothing on 4th down, take the 5 yd penalty, THEN PUNT which would have left UND with around 20 seconds. Instead, Delaney chose to pass the ball, stopping the clock, and leaving UND 49 seconds, which proved to be plenty to scorch our helpless secondary.

Here come the idiots who show up after a loss.
Please jack knock off the high and mighty shit. You know as well as I that the best thing for the program is for delaney to retire at seasons end. This program needs a new start with a new staff. Since we will not be in the playoffs we have time to put something good together. Sorry but we are not getting better and we are becoming a laugher. I'm afraid that recruiting under delaney will suffer and its quite obvious that the president could care less about the program. If delaney really cares he will resign sooner that later. If not we will fall like a house of cards. What a shame and it didn't need to happen.
