ELLIS

Incredible Young Man! He's going to do well despite the challenges. It's all there to make him stronger & to impact others. In his years at UM he was regularly the last person in uniform to leave the field post game. He gave his all to the program.

Heard he has interest from the NFL & especially the CFL teams. His father is married to a Canadian. Dual citizenship would be a potential game changer north of the border. A talented player like Ellis with "national" status who grew up playing football in the states is a major find. Numbers are great but if the player does not have next level talent behind those numbers they don't stick. Guys like this do.

I sense that there will be quite sometime before we see another comet like him burn across our sky. I hope the university learns from him. We need to be better prepared in the future. Blessings to you Ellis!

Ellis, you are a flat-out WINNER :!: You've taken your personal experience with the utter devastation of depression and you are turning that into something profoundly powerful and uplifting by sharing your experiences with others. If that isn't winning, I don't know what is. :thumb: :D

Thanks for the program. I only wish Ellis the best. I am so glad that he was so brave as to share his story with the Griz Nation. He kind of brings us all together for a moment and allows us to explore our understandings and beliefs.

Glad he came our way. He is a good teacher for all of us.

Thanks Bertram for posting.
And thank you even more to Ellis and the producers of this film clip. An important subject seldom addressed fairly in our society. This video shows that it is not the fault of the person suffering from the disease of mental illness, but is often treated so.
