Coaches leaving, players leaving, coaching staff in flux. QB question, DC question, administration sucks, enrollment dropping. Other than that it's all good.
Sounds like you are describing every other college football team. If you want this team to fail just take Gregorak's lead and join Bozeman.

Dude, he's an obvious Lilbro State troll. It's fun to cheer for the . . . C.[onsistently shitty program that embarrasses the State of Montana because they literally puss out of any real competition unless compelled to play a game by the BSC at which point they consistently lose as evidenced by the fact that they historically collapse at the end of their consistently weak non-conference schedule yet their idiot fans always have hope that the next year will be good despite 30 years of evidence to the contrary and they want to be Montana so bad that they always try to find ways to fool people into thinking they aren't state college including but not limited to the M on the helmet and the M on the mountain and the url and the fact that the department coaches players and fans care much more about UM losing than MSU winning as evidenced by a recent poll where 60% of cat fans said they would rather beat big bro than make the playoffs because they knew they wouldn't make the playoffs with their soft HC so then they hire a fourth choice replacement HC named after a nether region and get a coordinator UM effectively fired and act like this year THIS YEAR will be the year] A. T. S. !

EDIT: I forgot about the pathetic Cat Mouth the poor players are forced to run into and then out of to try to be more like the Griz even though the Griz do it the correct way.

That is so sad, it is almost beyond belief. It just looks so silly and is such a pathetic effort to appear "collegiate." It would be better for them if they simply did not do it.

Best wishes to Ellis. I was frankly amazed at how he could come back so strongly after weeks and weeks in bed. A body practically has to start over from scratch with that much down-time.

I agree. Everyone who isn't a Cat fan comments on how pathetic they are all the time, but this aspect is the most puzzling thing about the program. Who is driving the boat on the Cat Mouth thing? I hate the Cats as much as anyone, but it almost makes me feel bad to make fun of them for the Cat Mouth. It's like a "bless their little hearts" thing. I almost hope to learn that they do it because a sick little boy told Ron Ash it would be his dream to see the players enter the stadium, sneak into an inflatable Cat Mouth purchased from Earl's Used Car Lot Inflatable Crazy Arm Guy and Cat Mouth Supply Store, and then run out of the Cat Mouth like they were never there before. That would make it less surreal. Maybe Choade will put an end to it.

Well stated Copper Griz. This whole thread shows how little we understand about mental illness and the issues of treating and proper diagnosis of the different diseases that fall under the umbrella of mental illness. At this point it's for the best Ellis is in a place that he feels happy and can work on getting things in order. It should also force us to look into ways of helping people with mental illness and make sure the support is there.

griz02 you get it,,,,,also for those that are so callous regarding this subject need to be educated,,,and yes the u of Montana should have done everything possible to help this young man....after all he gave his all when he was representing the griz on the field.....geez......

my understanding is that UM did....

I don't know much about the situation but given UM's reputation and past experiences I would be willing to bet they didn't.

Thank you for the great years Ellis! As I sat on my couch with a miller lite in hand, Ellis single handedly (pun extremely intended!) made me shout out a loud a couple of times. Great receiver. Hopefully he enjoyed his time in Missoula. Good luck in the draft!

Pretty solid name. I understand how it might be cool to a special teams player from Ekalaka, but I wonder what the players from Austin or Waco think of this charade. They probably want to stay in there more often than not.

You may have hit upon something here. There has to be a plausible reason for the substandard and ridiculous facility decisions at Reno H. Sales. Could it be that a series of Make A Wish Foundation kids with very poor design taste have driven these decisions? What 7 year old boy wouldn't ask for a "poop pond" at a stadium? Or a stadium with holes in it so they could escape and build forts? What's next? The south by south-east end zone seats taken out and the area turned into a ball pit?

Same here, the probability of that post having anything worth reading is lees than NDSU winning the next 5 National Championships

I think that's right. Fort space is the main request in all stadium wishes made by sick kids. Poop ponds are a close second, and ridiculous Cat Mouths are third. This is according to a study I just conducted with a board certified radiologist. Maybe we've all been a bit too harsh on Lilbro State regarding its "expansions" to RHS "Stadium." It will be interesting to see whether Choatche will continue the traditions Ron Ash spearheaded during his time as cat camp counselor.

He said not ready. That may be nitpicky on my part but I think there is a difference between ready and willing. There is a learning curve that comes with dealing with a player in his shoes and if UM isn't already prepared for that I can't really blame Ellis. I just hope for his sake that his life falls into place and he's able to have some consistency in it.
Not ready is pretty much the same thing as not willing in this day and age.

The fact is, UM often times does a piss poor job of accommodating individuals with disabilities, especially individuals with invisible disabilities. There is no excuse for it and they've had multiple complaints filed against them for such things. Maybe he is not aware of the accommodations he could request, I don't know?

I am sorry that Henderson chose to just leave it all behind rather than fighting for it, though I don't really blame him.

I wish him the best of luck in his pursuit of an NFL position, but I wonder if he would not have been better off transferring or trying to stick it out for one more year rather than declaring for the draft.

being academically ineligible was the issue....which has been stated many times....he wasn't going to be able to play...

History would suggest that beginning the first of each November, this is precisely what happens.

Which stands to reason. A man, even the lesser-type recruited by Lilbro State, can only endure so much humiliation before they begin to rebel.

I have no experience with UM not accommodating for individuals with disabilities, but I can see the athletic department placed in a difficult situation with the instructors /professors working to get him eligible. There is only so much that can be done; ultimately the student must produce in the classroom. Additionally, the NCAA is another hurdle with this situation and we all know they are not the easiest organization to work with.
