Elle Tinkle Commits to the Zags

WOW, Robin helps deliver the men, Anthony Johnson, yet we cannot get him a Tinkle. That is not right.

We will know something is wrong if the men cannot land Tres. Providing Wayne is still here.

Good for the girls...both picked excellent academic schools.

Just sick thinking of what could've been had the both been on the Lady Griz for the next two years.

+1. But they will be better ballers for the choices they have made.

Good for her! Would have been sweet if the LG could have landed her, but I can't blame the girl for wanting to leave her hometown and do her own thing. Gonzaga is a good school and a good choice. I hope she does great things and makes us all proud she's a MT girl.

I know what you mean, mtgrizrule, but I also understand (and, actually, applaud) kids wanting to get away from home and try to make a name for themselves on their own. My daughter, who was a four-year college athlete, would NEVER have considered going to school in Missoula, even though both of her parents are UM graduates. She went out-of-state, did very well, never looked back. I can't criticize other kids for doing exactly the same thing.

As bad as none of us want to admit, the Big Sky conference is a second-rate conference for both men's and women's BB, when compared to schools like Stanford and Gonzaga.

I wish each of them the best. My GRIZ pride just naturally wishes all these kids would represent the GRIZ, then move on, or away after that. :thumb:

She knows that she picked a better program with more talent and went to a lot of their summer camps. Robin has been struggling lately with improving on his own talent. If it is his budget I don't know why it is not increased. Time will tell if he is the Bobby Bowden of Big Sky women's basketball.

No s*** on the recruiting budget. Back in 2004 - 2005 which was the last year that the Indy Star newspaper had their updated NCAA financial database listed by sport U of M spent a whopping $8,606 on womens basketball recruiting and it is probably not much better today.

And to think that negativity (-1, for instance) is on the other side of neutrality (0) to that that is positive (+1). Damn, that would mean that such negativity is worth less than nothing, now doesn't it?
