eGriz Hall of Fame

I must have gotten lucky with my wife. She's probably a bigger Griz fan than I am.

*Disclaimer: Only a bigger fan due to having gone to just about every single home game since she was born in the 80's. My first game wasn't until 2007. We're both just as rabid on the Griz.
Sounds good. But to claim the top honor, we need to hear of a delivery by the EMTs in the stands ... and she still follows the Griz. (Well, all right, I guess the parking lot would do.) Now that would be a FAN!

My wife cannot understand females who are not sports fans. Hell, we went to a basketball game for our first date. (We've since been at it for 54 years of marriage.) We became Griz fans in the early nineties, when our sister-in-law joined the UM faculty.
She wants me to add: Started collecting baseball cards in the fifties, and still has a foul ball from a game in Cleveland stadium around 1955-56.

This wasn't a Griz game, or football, but my mom likes to tell the story about how my dad held off taking her to the hospital to give birth to me because the Vandals were in an overtime game in the NCAA basketball tournament. And, she didn't protest...They hated the fu*kin' Vandals too.

snap is a lock in my eyes, it would be hard to dispute for anyone.

Now…I have to pose a question that will probably cause much banter and some hate and discontent:

Do we consider the posters who have been a huge part of eGriz but maybe not always loved or even tolerated…e.g. PR, Alpha, and the many faces of Growler? Or are these guys Pete Rosed even tho a bigger part of the site than 98% of us?

What say you?

PR is the Ty Cobb of this Hall of Fame (minus the overt racism)..

Alpha the Iron Sheik..

I am only auditing this thread though, so my vote doesn't count.

Great question Jodcon. I think the easiest answer would be to build a special mentally ill wing/closet to the HOF. As you suggest, it’s hard to deny the impact they have had on the board. Only god knows how many collective posts those three have.

Jack was at times smart and knowledgeable about football.

Mike was at times funny and outrageous.

Steve is…ahh…ahh…ahh. Someone help me out here.

Not sure where he went but JCU27 was fantastic. Pretty sure he posted pics of himself aggressively flexing - which automatically gets HOF votes

i have changed my mind. i now vote for an empty room with four blank walls. for the hall of fame, i vote for the four blank walls, and the floor. all apologies to the ceiling. in other words, all the contestant turned the ball over too often. or something like that.

I remember grizaremoregooder doing that. He had the mirrored tear drop sunglasses on to really finish out the look.

AG1. Grizo. Pols. Remax. SuperHornet.
Yeah, where'd that Remax guy go? He was pretty cool. Very nice graphs.

You know I haven't seen many charts lately. I miss them.

What the hell is the problem this nation wide logistics thing again?

Are our charts stuck in some damn container ship off the coast of Long Beach? :ugeek:

Damn I miss Swilly, dude has to be a HoF'er

I'd nominate CDA as well, don't know if I've found any other poster as regularly humorous than him.

Let me guess, you like those idiots from the t.v. show impractical Jokers too, right?

I obviously missed whatever interweb drama happened with PR. Can you enlighten me ...?

Probably his meltdown over the Lady Griz coaching hire and their expulsion of all Native Americans and how it’s driving the program into a shallow grave.

CFalls—I really don’t know, he just up and quit. Bama might be on to it. There were a lot of heated posts about the new Lady Griz Coach.

Probably moved on to some other school he didn't attend and has no ties to....sat at practices and hung outside of the locker room hoping to meet a few of the players or coaches....and now pops off on its board bad mouthing the "locals" who "didn't play the game"!

There have been rumors that JCU27 was recently spotted at the Family Dollar in Broadus doing donuts in the parking lot with his ‘82 Camaro.

"I could totally tackle Dan Moore 1-on-1 no problem" will always be eGriz's "football over them mountains"
