eGriz Gameday Roll Call!

-2, son's football season starting and plays a lot of games on Saturday. Going to be a lean Griz football year for me....... :(

Not sure why the sad face. I love my Griz but I would rather watch my boys play anyday. Griz football is forever your kids only play for a short while.

Been there. Done that. And strangely, when you are watching your kid play, the Griz games seem kind of distant. Until your son's game is over of course. Then it is a mad dash to the nearest TV. Good luck to you and your son

BTW....... +4

Ah, the joy of watching your son. :D
And the agony of missing Griz games,

I feel for ya. But if you can record the Griz you'll have the best of both worlds.

Hope that fire that has exploded down in Butte don't screw up anybodys travel plans to the game Saturday. Or maybe you will just have to take another route. It is 3000 acres and moving towards I-90. I by no means am a firefighter or claim to know if they would shut the interstate down if it got to out of control. But safe travels to all of you coming from that direction. I know it's supposed to get very windy up here in my direction today. Hope the wind stays away from you folks farther south. :thumb:

Looks like your talking about what they are calling the 19 Mile fire. Doesn't look too good at this point.

Crews worked hard through the night working on the eastern and western side of this northern moving fire. Additional firefighting resources have been ordered and are arriving this morning to assist. Crews are preparing as red flag warnings for high winds and low humidities have been predicted for today. The fire is currently located one mile south of I-90 and firefighters are working on structure protection in the Whiskey Gulch area. Fire officials and Jefferson County Sherriff are currently assessing the fire to determine damage to private property.
The 19 Mile Fire was first reported around 3:50 p.m. Tuesday. Firefighters from County, State and Federal agencies are working together to manage this fire. The fire is burning in the Radar Creek and Toll Mountain area north of Highway 2. It is burning in grass, brush and timber. A Type 2 Incident Management Team under the direction of Gary Benes has been ordered to assist with management of this fire beginning this afternoon.
Structures are threatened and Jefferson County Sherriff has conducted evacuations in the Upper Rader Creek and Toll Mountain area. Residents are asked to check in at the Whitehall Ambulance Barn (406) 287-3914 and if they need other assistance to go to the Catholic Church in Whitehall. Small animals may be taken to the Whitehall Ambulance Barn, however they will need to be in cages. Large animals may be taken to the Rodeo Grounds in Whitehall.
Officials are asking people to avoid driving in this area to provide for the safety of firefighters and publics.

I'll be there like always. The best part is I'm taking my girlfriend to the Cat's game on Thursday (we live in Bozeman) for her first FCS game. And then the USD game on Saturday. Let's make sure she knows which game day/program is king! :thumb:

(+2 from Bozeman, +3 from Missoula)

+ 10 from Billings plus about 10 more from Missoula. We start the "tailgaiting" at a family members house then head over to the game. Tailgate is right off of the bridge. We have a first timer with us, she has been getting brainwashed for the past few weeks and after watching the 100th video she has stated "I feel like I really got screwed by not going to a real college with a real football team" (she spent her college days in ND and MSU-B). Let's make sure to show her what Missoula is all about!
