Actually, a Frontier opponent is very close to getting done for the 2014 season, and it ISN'T CARROLL COLLEGE.

I sure hope not.

Population is 1,293. Seems like he should have been able to walk just about anywhere in town.

I doubt it.. He lives up on the hill in the burbs.

There are hills in Oklahoma? And 'burbs??

Huh.

HaHa.. I was just being smart ass

Yep more than Montana on the burbs, and you'd be very surprised about the hills. Goodwell though is in the flats, but fairly high elevation. I was on their campus about two weeks ago driving through town. The photos actually make the stadium look better than it is. Campus is very nice though, quiet shaded area. Guess I'd compare a bit to Western Montana. There are a couple of other towns within 20-30 miles that are much bigger than Goodwell's population. Hoping to catch the game there at a local bar. A Griz fan in Panhandle State territory!

Remember North Dakota State........

Oh and I had to change my handle and add a 1 because I couldn't log in and it wouldn't send me a new password. Maybe I got booted for baggin on Butte one to many times.

Send a PM to Chris and he should be able to get you back into your acct.

BTW, just had lunch with the regular crowd, one of whom is a football ref in the high school circuit here. He says OPSU is DII in basketball only, but NAIA in football. Their enrollment is around 1,500, which is larger than the town's population. The panhandle of Oklahoma seemed to me to be one big Indian reservation the last time I drove through it.

Suspension of two months pay? That's a little harsh.
I wonder how much money two months pay is at OPSU.
If its lower it could have an even greater impact on him if he doesn't have adequate savings due to lower wages.

True. I guess I thought he would likely have a day job as well. But you still make a good point.

They moved to DII a few years ago in football as well. They're a DII Independent.

But they still largely play an NAIA type schedule (including games against Sterling, McMurry, Langston, and SW Assemblies of God).

Ah, it looks like he should be back for the Griz game.

Meh, I'd rather play one of them than a DII (not that I want either)
