Please come by our tailgate located in lot "M". Directly across the foot bridge from the Press Box Sports Bar. You will see a Carved Bear (Monte) holding a large Griz flag standing in the truck. Come by and have a beverage and shoot the bull with other football fans.

I hope they leave their meth at home though Reinell. Ha ha I kid that’s very nice of you to always invite these other fans to the tailgate!

All fans are welcome! We talk football and other types of BSing. When we went to the Tennessee game in Knoxville in 2011, those folks treated us like kings. Four days and three nights and all we paid for was one beer. They taught me how to be a good fan.
Through the years, we have met a lot of nice folks at my tailgate and it is the part of tailgating I enjoy most.

I will validate that, lets me take peanuts on the walk by.

Now I'm conflicted. I have a couple of "corporate" tailgates available to me but this sounds so much more interesting.

I still have great memories of that game. The thunderstorm was interesting; standing in the corridors. The after game scene was wild with the bars on whatever street that was. Vol fans bought me a ton of shots. My wife was pregnant with our first kid at the time, so she just shook her head in disgust as I ripped my first and last heater on the roof of one of the bars. Great trip, and great fans.

Knoxville and Boone were the two best GRIZ road trips.

You have kids?

There is a whole GFP spinoff pod just waiting to happen here.

Spinoff podcast staring CDA sounds promising, but my thought is that the entertainment value of incorporating the kids in an #upalazyrivergrizfan podcast would be solid gold. Restaurant & resort reviews. #desertdrinking

Assuming they still have the tailgates open to the public...I think it was the GSA maybe? Flying in tomorrow and me and my dad are hitting up the game. First one in a couple years now.

Can we add RV park reviews?

Indeed Boone was AWESOME!

Does anyone know if there will be an ewu tailgate?

Asking for a friend

Yes. It should be a terrific time. As always, it is sponsored by ewu’s largest program, heavy equipment repair.

Look for the large Peterbuilt balloon.

Follow the smell of Lewis and Clark vodka and four locos mixed in with a little B.O. and meth smoke and you’re in the right place.

Have fun!
