This kid can play—almost anywhere—and I think he may be the one from this class to haunt us.

Not sure we were really in the running to get him; the bubcatz better not misuse him like they do to all their best MT players

Played six man growing up. Those are some big kids! We'd only see one or two kids anywhere near those sizes per game. Weren't even close athletically either. Oof.

I realize a few of these have verballed already (Cats, MT Tech to name a few) and I hate to be repetitive, but all this beef and not ONE is good enough to be a Griz?

Love seeing Dalton Noble on this list. He originally signed with Army but walked away from that verbal and signed with the Cats. He is the son of friends of ours so now I have someone to pay attention to on the Cats roster. He is a great kid!

How does a kid from Calgary, Alberta make the roster?

Benjamin Falkowsky, Calgary, Alberta, 5-11, 175

there is always (at least recent history) a Canadian due to Shriners there

Man thats a LOT of beef for NONE of it to land on the Griz roster…

I think this recruiting cycle may be more reflective of where Montana kids and coaches thought the Griz program was situated. It will be interesting to see if we can peel some of these kids away.

Thanks! I guess it would have helped if i read the link.

As far as beef and Montana go, the staff always will be looking at speed and balance as criteria for scholarships. Maybe the bigger Montana HS kids just lack the speed the staff prioritizes.
