The WEST team is practicing in Mining City, on the artificial turf at Montana Tech. Man that sh!t burns when you get tackled in the summer heat. Those rubber pellets might as well be red-hot coals.

Griz pass-catching recruits Dalton Daum and Colin Bingham are standing out. cats QB Brady McChesney thew two bad interceptions yesterday. Head coach Don Peoples (Butte Central) likes his team a lot. Says that the OL is what is hardest to get ready in a week for an all-star game like this, with the run and pass blocking schemes. Also the game will be televised live this Satruday night at 6:30 on the CW.

There is on shortage of talent on the WEST squad, as 31 of the 41 players on the roster have committed to play college football this fall, 12 of them at the FCS level.

A fix for the football withdrawal we all séem to have. Saturday, 7p.m., Memorial Stadium, Great Falls. See your newest Griz in action. It'll be my first time there in 40 years. I am jacked!!! :thumb:

Colin Bingham is jacked as well. He said that he has a couple friends on the EAST squad that he wants to do well against, before they come together and play as teammates in Missoula.

I know this is an All-Star game for a tremendous charity, but both sides want to win it badly.

Speaking of Bingham, I knew he was athletic for his size especially after having seen him on the hardwood, but seeing him in person this week on the gridiron impressed me. He is certainly ready to contribute for the Griz this season if needed. One play Bingham was the inside receiver, and he took a bubble pass to the sideline, while the outside receiver (Daum) sealed off his defender to the sideline...Bingham then juked his un-blocked defender (made him miss badly) by cutting back inside for a nice run. The kid will be a beast/hard to handle.

I don't care where we play him, I'm just glad we got Bingham.

I'm glad we got him too. I do hope he does play defense though. Either way, he has bright future and should be a great GRIZ.
