Early Signing Class - O Line Emphasis

Maybe because star ratings are subjective and have more variance further down the scale.
Yes, and because there's only so many scholarships to go around. I wouldn't want to be a coach trying to balance all of that stuff all of the time, but lots of internet pundits think they know better than the coaches.

From a completely outside perspective, I'd say you had better start from the ground up, get a solid foundation of big uglies, then continue to build the house and go for other skill players after you have that solid foundation. The comments from BH that you can't recruit the needed O-line/D-line uglies at the FCS level is absurd, a large portion of other teams seem to do it year after year. The arrogance is really becoming a serious handicap for the Griz under this philosophy. It may have worked in the past when they had success year after year, it certainly doesn't when you have seriously disappointing season after season. I'd think it'd be concerning to the upper admin folks, you can't continue to charge the highest prices for such a product as has been presented on the field. If next year goes like this year has, as is expected, along with the reduced number of season tickets sold, then change may occur in either philosophy or employees.

Season tickets, anttendance and qb club memberships are at all time highs.

for the current year, I’m talking about the upcoming year. I have no idea whatsoever if the #’s will go down or not, but I think it’s more likely than not.

Okay. I don't expect that. QB Club keeps going up. Numbers vary each year. Yes, they could go down a bit, after record years. Hauck helps bring in other good money for the athletic dept. and the Foundation too.
