Eagles a 14 Seed

I Didn't see it discussed already so here it is. What do y'all think of their chances? I feel like they have a real shot at an upset. They have shooters, solid defense, and can rebound. I think they have a favorable matchup. Kansas has been known to choke before and we already know what USC is like in the next round, should they win. If the stars align for them, good-bye Legans.

Kansas will be without some players due to COVID.

I may be stupid, but I’m picking EWU to upset KU. Three-pointers are the great equalizer.

Kansas being a 3 seed is generous(not to mention COVID issues) and EWU is as good a Big Sky team as i have seen in recent memory. EWU is strong in all facets and well coached(hate to admit). Not sure if i can root for EWU as Legans sideline antics drive me crazy haha. Will definitely tune in for this one

Kansas is playing their best basketball of the season right now. The COVID problems are concerning as they currently have 3 in quarantine, but Bill Self said 2 of those guys are expected to rejoin the team on Thursday in Indy. He did say they have been able to practice which is good and they are leaving Lawrence today, and the other 2 players will rejoin them in time for their game on Saturday. I'm not to worried about Kansas getting upset by the eags. It may be a little bit closer but I think they got it.

The real team that's in trouble is Virginia. They have their entire team in quarantine and have not been able to practice. They can't even leave Virginia until Friday and they play on Friday. Louisville, who was the first team out, may actually have to replace them in the field. Virginia has #13 Ohio in the first round, and if you're looking to take a 13 in your bracket, Ohio may be the one with no practice time and a ton of uncertainty for Virginia.

EWU is a great big sky team. With that said, they would still get rolled by Kansas, even if Kansas is down a player or two. Im guessing Kansas will easily win by 15+. I hope EWU gives them a better battle but there is a huge separation in college hoops when you take on the big boys.

I get it there is a huge separation with big boys(goes without saying) and has been since hoops began, but there are upsets every year... I am probably way off however without Jaylen Wilson who is a big factor inside and Mccormack in doubt this is going to be a coin flip in my opinion. Mccormack will likely be there but may be rusty as he hasn't been with team for a week and won't be until later this week. Advantage Eastern bigs maybe? Stars aligning for EWU upset?

A coin flip?!

Okay, yes, there are upsets every year. But very few on the 3-14 line. And if anyone were to give me a betting line that looked something like KU -1 or KU-2, I'd bet the house. Literally.

Western Regional. Held in Indianapolis. How do they decide the location? Serious question. There are 24 states in the lower 48 that are WEST of Indianapolis. Maybe they could use names like the NHL. I suggest Moe, Larry, Curly, and Sheep.

I believe the entire tournament - all games are being held in Indiana. They felt they could reduce risk by eliminating travel and having one location. Although the games are being played in many different venues in Indiana.

I suggest some research on your part might answer this question.

Being a Texas Tech fan here in Big-12 country, let me just say, I HATE Kansas. They have never been more vulnerable than they are this year. I hate EWU also, but I’d love to see them take down KU. LOVE it.
