Dylan Simmons in portal

Damn, I expected him to emerge this season. The few practices I saw last fall, he covered well and broke up a lot of passes.

So that’s two CB’s gone now. I hope they have a line on 3-4 really good ones, because it was already a thin position group.

Well this is the first significant loss. That’s too bad I was high on this kid! Hopefully we get some guys after we missed on the WSU kid a couple weeks ago!

What in the fuck.... the crew better be bringing in at least 3 cb transfers or we are gonna get smoked by the passing game.

Not good. Did but bobby miss on this one when he told Reilly that the outbound portal wasn't a factor for this team?

Dude we lost 2 guys after the season and 3 guys after spring ball. Colorado has lost 51 total players to the portal. We’re fine!

And 2 of the recent 3 were were told they would be better served to move on.

Dylan is a great person. Had an opportunity to visit with him this winter when I guest lectured for a couple of classes. Do not know for sure why he entered the portal but he did not enjoy our long winter and even our cool mountain nights.

And it seemed like a long winter this year. Makes sense to me.

I can attest that people from the south have a very tuff time acclimating to northern winters. My wife tried for four years and couldn’t do it so we moved back to her home. Now after 13 years, I’m pretty sure I couldn’t spend a winter in montana either😁.

I feel your pain, been trying to convince my wife ( she grew up in the south) to move to Montana for the last twenty years. She loves the fall and the cool nights...hates the cold winter! Hoping as we get older the heat of the summer in the south will convince her to try it at least for football season!

Guess I'm the lucky one. My wife is from south Louisiana. I moved her up here almost 33 years ago and she loves it! Wouldn't go back to live there for anything. Has become a big Griz fan and hates the cats. She says she can shovel snow, but can't shovel water fron the hurricanes.

Born and raised in Montana and lived all but three years of my life here. I will bitch about winter (particularly snowy/icy roads), but never would want to live where there aren't four seasons - although I actually like only one of them, i.e. fall.

West Texas has all four seasons, sometimes on the same day.
