Is this the same kid who's father stated something to the effect that "MSU nor UM is good enough for his two boys?"

Sure hope no one thinks less of my son for some of the stupid things I've said over the years....or even worse, throws it in his face on a public forum.

Every player that comes to UM gets an equal shot and is treated with the utmost respect!

We welcome everyone that turns from the darkness and comes towards the light! Go Griz!

His dad claims to have played in the NFL but a friend did some research and couldnt confirm. May have been in their camp but never on active regular season roster.

I heard was during the strike season.

Dylan is indeed in the range of 290 lbs. He's a LARGE kid, and an incredible athlete. He has a lot more speed than you would think when you look at him. He tried to win the starting QB job at Northern the last two years but, in both his RS-FR season, and coming out of last spring he was third on the depth chart. He was also Northern's long snapper and was extremely good at it last season. New Northern head coach Andrew Rolin asked Dylan to switch positions this past summer, and in fact, they were going to consider playing him two ways, as a starting TE and on the DL. Dylan initially agreed to the switch, but, a one day into fall camp, he changed his mind and decided to leave the program. I was dsiappointed that he left Northern, because, while I didn't think he'd ever win the QB battle, I always salivated at the idea of him playing a host of other positions. I think he would have been All-Conference this season at either TE or DE, he's that gifted. I was also bummed he left because he's a really good kid, and for his first two years, seemed to really love Northern.

Ahhh, loved Shane Falco ! One hell of a QB.
Crazy had a brother that work at the FBI played qb too. I think his name was Johnny Utah !

1987. There's a good ESPN 30 for 30. Year of the Scab about it. Yes basis of The Replacements.

Hard to think a guy two years in a row third on Northens depth chart would be able to play QB. Not only are the NAIA but not a good one.

Do you think he’s considered OT? That gifted athletically & with a guy like Germer as coach, maybe?

My college teammate's son converted from TE to o-line (tackle) after his frosh season (after spring ball). Pitt shares trading facilities with the Steelers. After he bulked up during his frosh summer, he ran into the Steelers head coach, who noticed how much bigger he had gotten. He told the coach he had moved to tackle. Tomlin said "that's the best financial decision you'll ever make in your life". Started 3 years at tackle and came out a year early to the NFL draft. Ran 4.80 and 4.82 40's at the Combine. See contract below.
