Who would have imagined five years ago that the big QB from Butte, who had gone to play QB at Northern, would have this be his path in football? Just amazing, and an absolutely top notch job of developing at this position in just a few years. Huge credit to him and all the coaches that worked with him!

Toure has officially made the Packers, too. Though that was never in doubt. I think he might actually make some noise this year.

Wow back. My friend makes $19 million per year. Pretty good for 27 year old kid. Maybe Cook will get to the big bucks.

I just meant WOW, that was quite the long way around to get to the name droppin, as I think it's already well-known and established that Cook is a great kid. There have been many threads, articles on here throughout the years documenting this.

Also, most people aren't impressed with people that make a lot of money. Yes, I know for you and probably your circle of friends, that makes you feel important and respected, but in reality money doesn't have anything to do with that. Being a good person and having character are things that are WAY more important than what your bank account shows. For the record, I'm not saying you don't possess those other things too, but just stating fact.

For example, I would never dream of saying something like, "God I admire Troy Andersen, he signed a $6,000,000 contract." I'd be more likely to say, "God I admire Troy Andersen. In the off season he goes home and works cattle and fly fishes the Beaverhead... just such a humble kid."

Man, I am trying to not engage in bickering on these boards, but this is really rich. Coming from the person who in another thread is saying that someone who basically molested children as a "good person" because he played for the Cats, and saying that what he did was okay because he was just penetrating people through their underwear, it is really hard to take a lesson in who has character. Say what you want about PR, but at least he isn't saying it is okay to drag kids to the back of the bus and hold your hand over their mouth so that they cannot scream for help while you do things do them.

Maybe just don't try to speak about "character" or what makes someone a "good person" any more, k?

What are you talking about? I didn’t say I admired anyone. What’s the difference between saying my friend makes $18 million and Troy makes $6 million?

I have never met Cook nor seen anyone say he was a great kid. Could you provide a quote or link? My point was not to say what kind of kid Cook was; it was to say what one of his Steelers’ teammates said about him. There’s a difference.

Taking a page from no one in particular, I want to share a post of mine from:

This kid will be all-conference before it’s over. If this was his RSsoph season, I’d say he’s an all-American in his senior season. His footwork & hand placement gets better every week - watch his technique when you get the chance. Sneed’s running sneaks to the right because of Cook & Mallory. Once he becomes confident, he’ll be dominant.

Apologies for my use of the term "Dominant", I know that can trigger bozeman fans. That slapping sound you're now hearing is me furiously patting myself on the back. We saw you then Dylan. Best of luck to you.
