During his 2008 junior season, Dallas Lloyd team to a 10-2 record and Region 4 5A Champions. He was 93-for-169 for 1,689 yards and 15 touchdowns to four interceptions. Rushed for five touchdowns and 128 yards in playoff game against Brighton. Named Conference QB of the Year. He says he can bench 265-pounds.
As a sophomore, playing sophomore football for Pleasant Grove (Utah), was 111-for-168 with 21 touchdown passes and three picks. Also played safety for the varsity squad.

Lloyd reports a perfect 4.0 core GPA and is taking the ACT in June.

Lloyd: “I’m a great leader and I can scramble well and make plays. I have a quick release and a strong and accurate arm. I’m a dual-threat quarterback.

“But I really want to improve my footwork and my drops. I’ve been working on that a lot and just doing a lot of drills and stuff.”

Interesting, looks like he just returned from a mission, http://stanford.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1367739" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

These are the best threads ever. Why hasn't Nick Montana been brought up. I mean we all know that Nate left because Nick was going to come over and start. Right? Right?

For this to happen, Lloyd needs to do the following:
1. Turn down a Stanford educa...hold on a second a FREE Stanford education.
2. Overlook the potential hit the University of Montana may take once investigation is completed.
3. Turn down the opportunity to start in the Pac-12/lead a resurgent Stanford program to the Rose Bowl.
4. Convince obviously religious self and family (Lloyd completed a Mormon Mission) all wrong doings at Montana were greatly exaggerated, and will be a fine place to attend school.
5. Believe he can play at the next level coming out of the Big Sky Conference...at quarterback.

So far I find myself thinking only #5 is realistic, and yet even that is a long shot. Consider me skeptic at best, and hoping for a HUGE I told you so.

I thought we already had this conversation.

i have been told that um is the harvard of the west...so this would actually be a step up.... :o

He could be in town...... There is a conference at the LDS Institute. They have a number of returning missionaries attend to help brief the new ones.

I actually feel like we're getting back to normalcy on this board. A drop down and uniform thread today.

I prefer to think of it as Harvard being the University of Montana to the East.

Ain't happening. Kid just changed Palo Alto as his current town 10 days ago. I seriously doubt he had an epiphany between then and now, just saying..
