Draft day!

Tripp will get drafted. I have zero doubt in my mind about that. Opening day roster? That's anybody's guess. If you're drafted in the sixth or seventh round, unless you're a QB or offensive lineman, it's all about how quickly you can shine on special teams. Be a special team's beast and you are going to make the 53 that drafted you.

I am going to predict that none of them will be on opening day rosters next September.

Bet? I will make a bet on Tripp. Name your dollar amount.
I'll bet a Benjamin that Tripp is not on a 53-man roster on opening day of the 2014 NFL season. I believe there's a small chance he's drafted, but I think he'll be exposed in an NFL camp.

Done. $100 on Tripp.

I personally think his Special Teams skills will keep him on a roster regardless of the LB

Mmmmm....possibly. I'd love to be wrong on this one...as long as he doesn't go play for the Giants or some shit team like that.

Given the trend of Fisher I would not be shocked if he ended up at the Rams

I agree. I am just saying that he gets drafted. After that, who knows?

Only way Tripp doesn't get drafted is if he gets exposed in the Senior Bowl or disappoints at the combine. If he plays well in the bowl game and tests high in his workouts, I could see him as a 5th round value.

Kistler isn't athletic enough to play tackle in the league IMO. I would like to see him try out at guard where he can use his size/strength more. I think he'd have a tough time pass blocking at the next level at T. I bet he'll have his choice to sign with a lot of different teams as a priority FA.

Coyle will have to have a ridiculous pro day to get drafted. On the other hand, he's probably a better prospect than McSurdy was and he got drafted. I really like his chances to at least make a practice squad. If he can prove his value on ST, could even pull a Colt Anderson as a ST specialist and solid backup.

Based on this seasons' performances, I'd put Kistler at 3rd in that list of 3. He got outright owned too many times this year.

Remember with these all-star "bowl" games that the game itself doesn't mean all that much, it's how the players perform during the week of practice leading to the games where the real scouting evaluations take place.

Tripp 5th round
Coyle 7th round
Kistler Preferred UDFA

JP - UM Student assistant. Opens up the Bellevue flood gates for recruiting! (this prediction is based on zero facts or inside info. just hoping he sticks around the program)

Didn't mean to be any sort of ranking or order. I think Kistler's best position is G. He would have a really difficult time pass blocking those freakishly athletic pass rushers at the next level. Kid definitely has the size, strength and tenacity and was a dominant OT for us, but he just doesn't have the quickness to stay in front of an Aldon Smith or even a Kroy Biermann. Coyle keeps surprising me. Hopefully, he keeps that up!

And I wasn't meaning to imply that I thought you were. Still think Kistler's the least likely to actually make a roster....even as a G. Too many times he was blown by on the line....

Gragg has said he believes Kistler will have a long NFL career.

Again, I hope I'm wrong...but Kistler couldn't hold #77's jock on NDSU's O-line.

Tripp will get drafted. Every team in the NFL likes strippers.

I think there's a good possibility both Tripp and Kistler get drafted in late 6th/7th round....I just don't think either will make the cut come opening day.
