Wood is credited for transitioning Sac State to FBS. I'm sure it can find a place there, given that California has enough schools within driving distance to make the "B" in FBS stand for Bus.
The vibe I get from Wood is that he's pied piper in this arrangement. I'd be very worried about that.
If he was the UM president turning the football team into the opening act for a list of State Fair caliber musicians, that would be concerning. Granted, UM doesn't have enough students to make a plan like that work, but the attendees aren't necessarily there for the team, the act costs money, maybe as much as the game given how cheap Sac tickets are.
I wouldn't expect Quavo fans to stick around for a post game concert in mid November. He's the wrong kind of hot.

I think it's all kinda funny that people think your ILB is going to make a tackle that they wouldn't have normally made against SAC because he's gonna be actively thinking about how angry corny comments from Dr. Wood made him.

Also, I don't hate you guys - anyone want four free tickets to the game? I have chairbacks, but also Premium GA (Access to Michelob Ultra Deck. Offering up on multiple sites.
 
Did Dr wood intern for the XFL or ECW as a young man??
I would love to hear how Sac fans honestly feel about their President.
 
This president uses the same approach WWE and other forms of entertainment do for garnering attention. He wants attention to this game. He knows what he’s doing. He’s not a moron.

Not necessarily what many would look for in a president perhaps but he is very intentional on making these comments before this game. It’s the biggest game for their team. It’s nationally televised. They’re throwing a concert and everything.

Welcome back Kadeezy, nice of you to offer up your tickets. I’d take you up on it but only drink European beer, not Ultra. So I’ll stay home and watch ESPN2.

To your point, I’m sure our players were going to take it easy on your guys. Though now after the gangster approach of your President our Griz are bringing the pain! My gosh, calling our guys pansies, or pandas, that is a step way over the line

This could be a good game. Sac State’s O line does a great job of blowing open some huge holes. Consequently I expect your Green team to score some points. Though I know our guys can score more. Thanks for your generosity. Caution your kids down there the Pandas are bringing the pain!
