Don't know what to make of this...

Hahaha wow what a douche bag.....that makes this win so much better....and can anyone tell me what the hell Phen was wearing around his neck the whole game?

I'm assuming it was a wooden cockflute whistle.

What Coach Phen was wearing is a gift from an ISU Sports Hall of Fame member from Hawaii. It's a symbol representing the necklaces worn by Polynesian island tribal chiefs. Rob shows respect for the elderly alumnus by wearing it during games. You guys own ISU with a lopsided series advantage and 12 straight wins, but you reveal too much about yourself when you belittle things you know nothing about.

Here's what we do know: your HC was a dick before and after the game. You know it as well. Maybe the elders should talk to him.

Doesn't this fact make it more likely that it's a "wooden cockflute whistle", from Hawaii?

So it is a cockflute...got it...

Thanks for the information.

It was theater. Poor theater, I’ll grant you, but now it’s on to North Dakota & the opening of that fabulous new facility.

Ya gotta admit that without context it does look really odd. Nice that he honors tradition though. Hopefully the necklace will eventually help him develop some class. I like the effort I saw out of the ISU players. Definitely an improvement over recent years.

Again, you guys are reading this all wrong. "Dirty team"? "Stuff going on at the bottom of the pile"? C'mon! The dude had a $700 bespoke taintscratcher around his neck the whole game and post game? He said he's saving his comment for video "analization"? Read between the lines.

Side note: In watching his press conference, was I the only one waiting for Margie to walk into the frame to snag a box of G2s from the supply cabinet or some leftover pasta salad she keeps in that grocery bag so people don't steal it from the common fridge even though it's clearly marked?

So the guy with an $900 taintscratcher is doing his own analization? C'MON, CDA!

I'm sending this video to B.M. Brown, Esq., for comment.

Phenicie = no class. Not hard to understand, given the School of Public Relations that he attended.

As opposed to stitt talking shit to the isu student section during the game real classy.

Maybe you didn't hear the isht that the students were pouring down on the players and coaches. They earned the very subtle jab that Stitt lobbed their way. Doubt it hurt anyone's feelings (except yours).

Pretty classless to put your student section behind the opposing team imo. That’s asking for trouble. But ISU has to do everything they can get ppl to come out and watch their crappy teams.

My only problem with this is that Stitt didn’t give Phenicie a long handshake and tell him to get used to the f’ing ass kickings.

Stitt looked like he was running for his life and damn near fell over doing so.

Stitt said that directly to the player not the students. He nodded his head toward the students but did not say it directly to them. You will need to find something else about Stitt to bitch about cause you are wrong on this one.

Yep. Pretty clear (we thought) he was sharing a kinda "in" joke with the nearest guy.

It's called being a professional, so you would be o.k. if any opposing coach would do the same at your place?

Absolutely. If the opposing coach turned to our student section and said "It's not as fun up there as it used to be, is it?" then I am sure our students wouldn't wilt.
