I think that the griz will play stanford a lot tougher than people can expect. Stanford is way down this year as seen by there almsot blowout loss to Santa Clara, a team that the griz could have beat.

I am predicitinga a close game with Stanford pulling it out, but dont start a party just yet griz fans.

You do realize Santa Clara beat No. 3 in the nation (at the time) North Carolina earlier this year, don't you?

Yes, in a game where everything went in for Santa Clara and nothing fell for UNC.

Santa Clara has since then lost bad to Pacific, a previously winless Cal Poly team, UC Irvine, and Pac-10 doormat Arizona State.

Maybe you should do a little more homework.

That's why they play the game.

I don't really think you know what you are talking about here. I did know that Santa Clara has since lost to those teams, but any team that knocks off an ACC team, especially a high caliber team like N. Carolina and all of their portential all-americans, obviously knows how to play ball.

Trust me when I say that I know more about Santa Clara baseketball than anyone on the board.

Sometimes a blind squirrel finds a nut.

But you are right, thats why they play the game!!!

Arizona State is not a Pac 10 doormat. They are 9-1 at this point in the season. The homework statement should probably be reversed.

Santa Clara is 119 in RPI this season. That places them in the top third of the nation, which I would consider a pretty good team. If you went to the Santa Clara game you would know that they are a pretty talented team.

Stanford did stumble out of the gates but they are still a strong team. Two of their losses were to top 25 teams (Louisville and Michigan State).

I think the Griz played a good game besides giving up way too many three's. It was a tough roadtrip and there are a lot of positives that came out of it.

Stanford's first 6 games were all on the road due to remodeling.

Game against Grizzlies was only the second home game for Stanford this season. Seems Stanford was really starting to feel comfortable at home against the Grizzlies. Better team than their record is.
