Don't expect complacency to set in with Krysko in charge

Krysco also mentions that Lynch will be back with the Griz next year. :drinking: . If you believe that I have some valuable resort propery in Libby I would like to offer you. :splat:

He did not, however, say that he would be back as a scholarship player. He also stated there was the possibility of one or two more additions this summer. Hmmm? I still have to wonder if McKay will be back given his post-grad status and injury history. I really hope that Mike Chavez makes it. He has tons of talent and I really want to see him turn out to be a success story academically as well!

As of now, McKay will be back. I know that the coaches are keeping their fingers crossed that he will give up his schollie so that they can pick up a couple of more players that they want.

On a side note, I know some former college players that are active on the pickup game circuit around town and they are saying that Hasquet is looking like he is going to be a great contributor this season for the Griz. His inside game has is getting much better and he is actively being more aggressive on the court. These players also said they think that Hasquet is a much better prospect than McGillis and that Jack, while talented, became a product of hype that outweighs his actual skill.

In Thursday or Friday's Great Falls Trib. their was a short blurb on a Washington High school player (2003-04 year) who attended a prep school this year who will walk-on for the griz. He was a 6-4 off guard.

His name is Greg Spurgetis. He was an All-Greater Spokane League selection in 2003-2004 and averaged 17.1 points per game. He attended Air Academy Prep School last year which is sort of a JC for the Air Force Academy. It sounds like he has 3 years of eligibility left. He seems like a heckuva get for a walk-on.
