we got stephen f austin this week. be lying if i said i wasn't a little nervous about this matchup.

I think SFA has a bad history playing in Montana.

70-14 Griz in 1995 playoffs
51-0 Griz in 2009 playoffs.

ya, and if the cats were playing as well as those griz teams were i'd be more confident! i think we can pull it out but the last couple weeks haven't given me a ton of confidence. i think it's gonna be a hard fought game and cats are really going to have to play quite a bit better than they did last week to get the dub.

Will Minter & Daly be ready to go?

Possibly out until the Eastern game.

The other week when Donaldson's plea was announced, the Missoulian posted the story to facebook with a photo of Johnson. The headline "Ex Griz pleads guilty to rape" was vague enough to suggest the Griz in the photo was pleading guilty.
The Missoulian is beyond terrible sherry devlin should quit.

Dumb mistake? Damn straight. Actionable? Proof of malice? Best of luck proving that. You won't. In a million years.
No, but negligence is just as damaging in court and much easier to prove. A wreckless disregard for the truth should suffice.

i've always stated that none of us really know what went on in these rape cases, and haven't dismissed the chance that they are legitimate. however, florio's reporting is repugnant even to me. it was always clear that she had an agenda, but this freudian slip is over the top.

finally, we can agree on something. :thumb:

Lots of mistakes with the Gwench....regarding the armed robbery and shooting the other day, she reported on a shotgun toting perp, but then went on to describe a .22 rifle being involved. Oh, well...

as of now they are listed as questionable. however, and this is just MY OPINION....i think this is gamesmenship from our staff. i heard as early as sunday morning at least in the case of minter that his injury could keep him out for some time. then a day later he's listed as questionable.

obviously we could really use both guys for this matchup but if i had to bet i'd say we won't be seeing them until the eastern game at the earliest. again...just my personal thoughts with no real inside info to back it up. :o

...with theze outrageous errorz...

Your shtick has become tired, and your posts are less and less entertaining, and now you post this.....

And totally redeem yourself.

She apparently was writing to articles at once, including one where the judge not only said no to dismissing charges against JJ but, hell no. Its no wonder she got things balled up, with all the rape action at one time, its probably as close to a real orgasm as she can get. apparently the Missoulian has laid off their editors too......

I guess I was unaware of the judge addressing the motion to dismiss but it really doesn't surprise me. If that is the case when is the next hearing to set a trial date. I would guess this will go to trial in 6-9 months. I would also guess the prosecutors are going thru the texts to create a time line on who was where and what they knew when they were there. Bottom line is it will be settled this time next year and a lot of people will have been drug through the mud. Including Jane Doe. Then the fun will start.

The Judge agreed to review the texts and indicated that many were possibly not discoverable.

Regardless of the reasons that Ms. Florio may have gotten the names wrong it is inexcusable for the Missoulian to publish this article without proofing it.

If there is an agenda against the UM Athletic Department by the Missoulian, it clearly goes higher than the beat writer assigned to the story.

it has been her and others mission to help destroy the football program. lying from the start getting everybody upset(myself also) then the truth starts coming out and it ain't nothing like she keeps reporting!

sad just sad! she is willing to sell her soul for a three year playoff ban  !

Anyway, the motion to dismiss Johnson's case was denied by the judge: http://missoulian.com/johnson-judge-s-ruling/pdf_0b717a18-fc7a-11e1-a718-001a4bcf887a.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
