Started the game with 3 of the first 4 possessions resulting in 3-and-outs and the other an interception. Way to set the tone. Down 4 scores to a good team - game over. The offense was very sloppy; 3 ints, bad RZ fumble; almost as bad as STs. Can't return a KO; 31.5 ave on punts, missed PAT. The defense was put into impossible situations and was not the problem; is showing improvement. Weber had 298 yards.Mousegriz said:grizeyes said:Like BW said, we just put up over 500 yards on the #1 defense in the big sky. Offense is OK. Flat at times, head scratcher at times, but OK.
Head coach, D coach and ST coaching, are all lacking. IMO.
I didn't watch the game but thought I heard we fumbled in both red zones. One led to no points for Griz and another led to 7 points for Weber. Also a pick 6. Seems like a possible 21 point turnaround. Offense wasn't OK on those 3 plays.
So that begs the point...if the defense also gives up meaningless yards and the Griz win, do they need a new defensive scheme or coordinator?
Oooo, consistent logic for the win!
