I remember getting up early to watch this one. The 1984 Philadelphia Public League Cross-Country Championships. I remember Bobby "the Dominator" Dobbins taking the crown in the Varsity race. Dude could scoot!

Well, I just finished reading the Internet. I didn't see any evidence of the Cats winning the 1984 I-AA NC. Jodcon, did you happen upon anything?

Nope, saw a lot more 1984 Championship footage out there for everything from checkers to body building, but...no Cat NC in football.

It is definitely odd. I have to feel for them, however. The crowning achievement of the program was admittedly almost 30 years ago, and also never actually happened.

Sorry I would have helped you guys look for it, but I got distracted by the video evidence of the Grizzlies 1995 National Championship on youtube. Then I remembered I had the game recorded on my DVR from one of the many many times it's been replayed on TV and decided to watch the last several minutes again.

I wonder why that same channel doesn't replay the Cat's "victory" in the 1984 NC game. They replay a lot of old games so you'd think that they'd replay that one if it really happened. I guess they can't find the video of it either.
