You're a joke; our best teams took at least one on the chin in the course of the season and came back stronger. Very few are tipping their cap to Barriere, who flat beat us last night. He was that good. He put up 422 passing and rushed for key first downs. Yet the game came down to the last play. Good fans are hungry for another shot at him down the line. Losers like you have given up.

Seems like to OC is using his personnel to their strengths ... not sure I agree on the offensive scheme. Running game is snake bit... we have had the top 4 guys get banged up!

We will agree to disagree. The running game is certainly problematic. With a line that big, there should be something happening on 1st and 10 that produces more results. Regardless the guy in the backfield. I don’t think he two running backs yesterday did terrible. He ran the same play about 3 series in a row or a very similar version of it.

There is so much more to run blocking than being big. Being too big can be a detriment.

I have a proposal to the egriz board monitors. Shut the board down from kick off until 12 hours after the game is over. That way the idiots that feel they have the license to verbally tear down and even wish bodily harm on any player may just need some time to cool off before they attack. Just once put yourselves in Cam’s place. Did he not want to win, did he choose to put life and limb in danger of serious injury? The answer is obvious.
Cam is a good quarterback but odds are he will never play beyond this level but he has a desire to win, just as much as Jace or Robby or any of the other Griz players. Does Cam have limitations, of course he does or he’d be playing for a Power 5 team. But for the so-called fans to come on this board and malign his efforts is just a cheap shot that is not what being a Griz fan is all about. As a U graduate and a fan of our sports teams for almost 60 years you punks don’t deserve to have a voice. You do not represent my University.

1. Shutting down the board to censor opinions you don't like is stupid. You don't get to determine when and where fans voice their opinions.

2. Putting anyone in Cam's place is irrelevant. Personal ability/experience doesn't validate or invalidate observational opinion.

3. Whether or not Cam 'desires' to win is irrelevant. I desire to be a billionaire, no one cares.

4. 'Cam is a good quarterback' is objectively not true. Numbers don't lie. He may, and I stress 'may', be the best option to run the specific scheme Hauck has installed, but there is ample evidence that he is at best an average quarterback.

5. You don't get to decide who is and isn't a fan. I would have thought you'd have figured that out over almost 60 years of being a graduate and a fan.

A QB's record is certainly important, no doubt. And there might be a few programs out there what would plug Cam in right now and see success. However, this is not total story. By any version of the eye test, Cam isn't a consistent QB nor is he particularly gifted in any facet of the game. His ability to scramble might be his best attribute, but there are numerous QBs in the conference and across FCS football who are far better at it. He's frequently inaccurate on passes that should be high percentage throws and his decision making is suspect. His inability to read a defense and move to a secondary or tertiary target were exposed last night. Additionally, Cam's passing numbers, even when corrected for the Pac-12 defense he faced in week one, are putrid. He can't move the ball consistently. Make all the arguments you want about that being a product of scheme and play calling, but his 2 terrible interceptions were critical factors in that loss.

Correct, I'm not a UM grad. Like most of the youth in the Bitterroot/western Montana in the last 2 decades, I chose an education in something other than trees, women's studies and 2 bit journalism. If I wanted to waste my time and money, there are much more enjoyable ways to do so: blackjack, whiskey and hookers come to mind.

Correct, I'm not a UM grad. Like most of the youth in the Bitterroot/western Montana in the last 2 decades, I chose an education in something other than trees, women's studies and 2 bit journalism. If I wanted to waste my time and money, there are much more enjoyable ways to do so: blackjack, whiskey and hookers come to mind.
