Did we throw the ball more than 10 yards?

I don't think the coaches trust Brown throwing the ball downfield. And, to be honest, in yesterday's game, I thought Sac State had not one but two QB's better than UM had.

I agree, ‘68. It felt like both of those QBs were consistently able to find wide open receivers camping in the gaping holes in the zone. A lot of those catches were made with the nearest Griz defender at least 5 yards away.

Sad, isn't it? Why can't the Griz recruit these supercharged QB's????

Maybe kids don't want to play football in a prevent offense??

With all those check down throws, Brown was efficient. 29-36 for 188 and the Griz ran for 84. Unfortunately Montana gave up 302 yards through the air and 154 on the ground. Barrier completed 26 passes for 600 yards. Hopefully KB grows into those numbers
Not with our OC and scheme.

Seemed that early on they were packing the box - which is when we might of thought of throwing those short outs on 1st down.
That's when we preferred to run on first and second down with a 170lb RB. Make a statement.

Are you sure he weighs that much, probably program talk.
