Did the kitties play football today?

Why shouldn’t we talk shit? We won. They lost. But, there they are on BN... talking shit like the opposite happened.

Because next week we’re going to get destroyed in our “money game” in the same fashion that msu got destroyed in their “money game” today. Anyone that thinks otherwise probably should never discuss football...ever.

Fair enough... “next week”, we won’t talk it.

So...your saving grace is that I mistakenly, most likely due to old age and alcohol, keep thinking our game against Oregon is next week? You’re right not to want to talk about it...or football. You should never talk about football.

Not at all. I quoted it because I was sticking to that game, no matter when it is. And, no worries. I may have talked about football one time here.

Nice win from you guys. Not sure who is talking shit on BN, but it's a bad idea. Smart fans are putting this past them and thinking about SEMO (with their mouths shut). Today didn't define our season. But a loss next week just might.

How’s that game shaping up? Looked like they had a hell of a performance against the salukis. Over 200 rushing and passing, almost 550 total.
Narratives can change from week to week in this sport. Often dramatically. Don't sleep on N Alabama.

Gold Rush is historically a great game for the Cats, and it will need to be again. The game will be a pretty even battle and won't be decided until late, but I predict the Cats in victory formation as the clock expires.

1. More TDs than INTs (yep, looking great!)
2. 25-30 TDs and fewer than 10 INTs (Looking good with 1 TD)
3. Over 200 passing ypg (120. Has some ground to make up)
4. 60-65% completion % (37% today)

That was just his wild ass guess remember 😂. That dude has obviously never played (or followed) the game.

I watched the western Illinois game and can assure you that Northern Alabama will not be overlooked by anyone. They had a quality win last week. I can also say with absolute certainty that having watched both teams UM is vastly more talented than both Northern Alabama and Western Illinois at all of the skill positions and the OLine (believe it or not). UM should win by 2 or more scores if they play to their potential. The only positions Northern Alabama looks to have equal or better talent than UM is on the Dline. The quick passing game will negate that advantage, as it did with USDs dline, who also looked a bit better than ours IMO

Yep. He threw a couple balls into the dirt as expected, but threw some beauties as well. No picks, no fumbles, our best receiver sat out, and now we have that game (Against the best team we'll face BY FAR) out of the way. I'll take all that.

Oh, and if anyone thought there was any chance in hell Bauman was going to light it up against a Big 12 defense..... find a different sport to watch because you don't understand football.

It is hard to judge Bauman's performance based on TT. I would say tho that the scats mighty D had to be a let down regardless. I guess on the other hand TT had what close to a 100 plays so they were on the field a lot.

Hey, it was you and other Cats who were telling us how good your QB was going to do. Perhaps you should direct that comment to your brethren.

Yep :thumb: Sit down Sneed. With stats like that, Tucker Bauman has my vote for BSC Player of the Week.

I don’t understand; how could this be?
Just a few weeks ago, the College of Bozeman was playing “pro” football, with the best D seen in the likes of the FCS, and led by a QB comparable to “Flacco/Osweiler”

I remember reading that it was the greatest defense that ever was or ever will be.

His performance was truly Flacco-esque, as you predicted. He looked just like Joe Flacco out there with 120 yards on 37%.

Wait. He actually looked like scared hot garbage? Well, he’s still just like Flacco, except in games where he doesn’t look like Flacco. You’re dumb if you expect him to look good in those games.

And, they beat a higher ranked very good SEMO team handily.

Cool. Just tracking poor’s assertions.

Thanks for doing this! Right about where I thoight he's be after these first two

Cat’s defense is solid, but their secondary could have trouble keeping with a team who has excellent receivers. The D Line is power house and going to be tough to run against. Good LB’s. The offense is a different story. Still not impressed with QB. A work I progress. Special teams was not pretty either. Overall a good performance at home.

Sure thing. He only has to average 215 yards and 3 TDs on about 70% completion percentage from here on out!

I saw some “highlights” of this game if you could call them that.
Looked like the Dillon LB’er was back at QB, at least for most of those plays, or when it mattered, like in the red zone.
Falco’s passing stats were greatly inflated by a long fly-sweep handoff that went in the books as a pass. Had to be about half his yards on that “pass.”
