awesome post spsyk....especially the parts where you accuse me of doing the same exact thing that you are doing....by the way, where exactly did I say "happy with the way things are going".....yeah, I didn't...

also, I said in August that this team was a 6-7 win team due to lack of talent at positions and putting a new system in...I have not agreed with all of Stitt's decisions, but I don't think 6 games is a big enough sample...as for you...pretty sure you would be on here bitchin' about Stitt even if they beat Weber by 3....because they didn't win by enough...

Never mention losing to Weber, although we did lose, and the score is insignificant, a L is a L by one point of a hundred points.

The six games that have been play is a pretty good indicator on how this season is going to go, and my expectation will start out low for next season,and hopefully as the season progresses next season I can jump on the bandwagon with you and others..

I'm sure it'll be worth it to force them to play a year early to get the same if not worse results.

He already tried subbing out two linemen for two others and it didn't work. It's not Stitt's fault that Delaney didn't make O-Line a recruiting priority and that no drop downs wanted to come here. He's doing what he can with what he has.

Seriously, what else is he supposed to do besides magically grow excellent linemen from thin air?

No, NDSU beat NDSU that day with bad play calls and bad QB play (hurt too) and missing an all conference Corner.

all I know is if they played again at this point....NDSU by 3 touchdowns at least. Partly due to NDSU improvement as season goes on, UM not improving, NDSU knowing what to expect (actual film). Injuries are a part as well...Gus out, and NDSU QB not limping like in second half (Griz had no answer for him until he was hobbled). One deserves playoffs, one doesn't........

Wasn't Bob Stitt the coach when Montana beat North Dakota State the number one team in the nation? Wasn't the game televised on ESPN? I seem to recall that most of you thought Stitt was the finest coach in the land and worried that we wouldn't be able to keep him very long.
Now, after we see our team lose to Weber State, many of you are calling for his head. Do you realize that good football teams can lose? Would it be reasonable to give the Weber State coach credit for having a good game plan?
None of us like to lose, and I would bet our coach is more disappointed than anyone. I would suggest that the coach who was able to beat North Dakota State has the skills to bring his team together and emerge stronger than the evening of his fateful win over the number one team in FCS.

One win does not make a season.
