My condolences to the Barz family. Cancer is such an insidious foe, sounds like she put up a heck of a battle. I didn't know her, but she certainly made her mark in Montana. The two things that impressed me most in the article are: 1. Resigning from her position on the Montana Supreme Court because she didn't like living away from her family; a woman with admirable priorities; and 2. Attending 46 consecutive Griz/Cat games.

My wife knew her very well. I only met her a couple of times, but she was a very, very intelligent lady. Very nice. Condolences to the Barz family.

My condolences to her family. Sad news indeed.

I was fortunate to know her growing up in Billings. I spent a couple of summers cutting her grass as she lived a couple of houses down from us. Always had a cold drink ready when I finished.

My condolences to the Barz family as well. I knew Dan, Diane, and Rocky and they are really a great family! She was a trailblazer and is an icon for our great state and will be missed by many.
