Okay, I know they're not big names ... but it IS college football, and not a bad game. It's on ESPN-U, for those of you who can get that (208 on DirecTV). And, at the moment, 1-AA Abilene Christian is leading 1-A Georgia Southern, 23-21.

A-C leads by 9 at the end of the third quarter. Ga State is a bad football team ... but still.

They are a good example of a team moving up too quickly for the $. They were D1-AA for two years in '10 and '11 before moving to 1-A and they were D-2 before that.

Would not surprise me ... although they are not out of reach in this one. Of course, A-C is not exactly a powerhouse, although they can score a lot of points. (If I'm not mistaken, A-C is not yet eligible for the FCS championship field, however.)
