Derek Selvig: Help or Hindrance?

still in high school i believe....

Senior this year. Lost out in a challenge game Monday night. Tough deal. A high school student from Corvallis was killed Monday morning in a car accident on the way to school. I am surprised they played the game.

It was one of his classmates that was killed. Popular girl and the whole senior class was and still is shocked. Memorial is this afternoon.

Riley is a very good player and I sure wish he would have been a Griz. Stats suffered because he was a AAA talent on a B level team. He also spent a lot of effort trying to make his teammates better and keep everyone involved. Coaches kid. Very much a team player IMO.
