When was the last time Idaho beat a top tier Big Sky Team? The last few games against EWU and Montana didn't go in Idaho's favor...

Here's the thing: Idaho shouldn't have ever moved up in the first place. If their fans want to be pissed about something, be pissed about that. It was a decision fueled by fear of being seen as Boise State's little brother and, despite the move, that's exactly what Idaho became. For every one Boise State, there are ten Idahos. And even with Boise State's relatively high level of success in FBS, how many times have they gotten a shot at a national title at that level?

I know there are strong feelings both ways among Griz fans as to whether or not UM should ever move up. I'm strongly on the side of staying Big Sky UNLESS, at some point, the power 5 conferences split off and form their own division. I have no desire to ever watch the Griz play in the Las Vegas Bowl or Humanitarian Bowl or the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. In all of Idaho's FBS years, they only qualified for three bowl games and NEVER played a bowl game anywhere other than Boise (oh, the irony).

Move up is stupid, costly and misguided. Other than that, I don't have a strong opinion on it at the time.

I have spent a some time in southern Idaho, and 9 of 10 people I have talked to wearing Vandal stuff have agreed the move to the Big Sky is a great move. of those 9 I would guess maybe 1 evens knows the Vandals have a forum, let alone visit it or comment on it. So all those poor depressed Vandal snowflakes need to look at the big picture.

What happens when they struggle in the FCS?

They will demand their coach be fired, spend hours debating the next savior of the program, one fan will create an online petition in protest, and another fan will end up doxxing the aforementioned fan.

I had the "pleasure" of talking to a Vandal supporter a few weeks ago. He was in complete denial. He firmly believes:

1. This is a short term deal. They will be back up to BCS within a few years.
2 They will simply dominate the Big Sky, and FCS... He will be SHOCKED if they haven't won a national championship within 3 years.
3. The booster base will be so unhappy with this move, that they will all pony up the funds to get them back to the BCS.
4. The opposing teams will be intimidated coming into the Kibbie Dome. This is where I couldn't hold my laughter anymore.

Serious. I can't make this shit up. I kept waiting for him to start laughing to let me know he had a great sense of humor... Nope. Proceeded to get pretty pissed off when i started laughing. It was great.

Seems to me the Little Brown Stein resides in Missoula, since the Griz won the last meeting. Vandal fans should keep telling themselves they’re a superior entity. We’ll see where we all stand next mid-November.
