Ah, going "to go in a new direction?" A familiar phrase from last March. Hopefully, unlike UM, the direction won't be south...

Wow, tough profession. One title and one runner-up finish and I'm wondering exactly what direction the higher ups there expect.

I guess the bar is set pretty high when you succeed a legend named Tubby.

I think Keeler was making pretty good money, in the $300k range. I would imagine that UD can find some nice applicants with their history and money like that.

Wonder if the natives are on their board bitching about a witch hunt because the administration won't give them the deep dark reasons...

Wow. I thought KC Keeler was a pretty good coach. I know the hens weren't top dog in the CAA, but they weren't terrible.

With just a few clicks and some reading, you could find out, and report back to the Griz world. Or, keep it to yourself and join the 'I Know Something You Don't Know Club." Choice is yours.

The answer is....No they are not Witch hunting. They are better than that.

Yes, he took them to the NC three times in 11 years but also had three losing seasons in the last 7 years. A third of the entire program's 9 losing seasons are under Keeler.

After an easy OOC (West Chester, Delaware State, and Bucknell) Delaware ended up 5-6 by losing 6 of their last 7 games. Same record as UM, except all downhill at the end of the season. Many have already called for Delaney's head. Imagine repeating this season 2 more times in the next 6 years. Wouldn't you want the head coach replaced? I know many Delaware fans were that frustrated this year on the other boards.

I see your point. He's probably being let go more for recruiting performance than coaching, based on the three losing seasons. Of the admittedly few times I watched Delaware games, I liked his in-game style. Stuck to his gameplan, seemed cool on the sidelines. In my opinion Delaware very well could have/should have had the 2010 NC if not for a pretty generous fourth down spot in Eastern Washington's favor.

The CAA was pretty tough this year.. hard to win games in that conference.. not sure Keeler deserved to be let go..
