I'll cut him a lot of slack. He is now stuck with the scholly loss, again not his fault but I'm sure the forum will barbecue him for any perceived drop off. I for one would point to Hauck's common inability to score TDs from inside the 5 due to consistent use of the 7 yards deep delayed handoff, or Pflugrads keeping the leagues worst punter on the roster each of his years at the helm as well as generally horrible special teams play his first year. All our coaches have slipped up on some aspect of the game at some point. Delaney is no worse and he runs a clean ship.

How many teams have we beat with a winning record since he took over as head coach?

Last year we beat MSU, Cal Poly & UC Davis, all of whom were 5-3 in conference. The year before we beat Liberty.

If you go by D1 competition, we've beaten 1 team in the past 2 years with a winning record vs D1 competition. it was the cats while they were collapsing at the end of the year. That put us at 1-7 over the past 2 years.
Hopefully that trend will change significantly this year.
