Deja Vu

In case you didn't know, it's the playoffs. Doesn't really matter what happened in week 1 or 2 does it? Afterall, UND had you beat.
Yes they did. Except at the end of the 4th qtr.
And YSU had Yale beat. Except at the end of the 4th qtr.
I do expect this to be a battle for 4qtrs. But this is what I want to watch. A chance to see what this team can do at their best.
At home in WaGriz.
I will be back in town at my usual spot at the top of the NEZ.
I'm thinking that that is all that is needed to secure the W. :ROFLMAO:

It’s funny how jaded and leery we’ve all become. Man, the 2010s and pandemic really did a number on the fanbase, myself included. More and more of the fanbase is not confident at all against decent teams. I watch SDSU and I see the neighbors all over again. Or Eastern passing for 410 again. I’ll bet Mason doesn’t fumble the spike…
Why do you pretend to be a GRIZ fan? I know it's humiliating to admit to being a bub, but is it really worth this? Hell, I'm embarrassed for you.

Doesn’t matter. If we can’t beat SDSU at home we sure as fuck weren’t beating NDSU in Nashville.

Holy hell dude. I’m just voicing anxiety. Give me a break. I know I don’t have the pedigree of the old folks, but I ain’t no flea bitten feline. I hate losing and I’m unconvinced after the kitten game. If that makes me a cat fan in your eyes, then you’re blind as a bat.

Also, every time I voice confidence in a Griz win, we lose. It’s kind of become a superstition at this point.

A huge Brawl of the Wild game sets up the winner with the #2 seed and an outright Big Sky championship, while the loser still gets a seed, but is disappointed.

Defending champion Dakota school cruises to an undefeated record, while their rival struggles all season, having to play in the first round.

The #2 Montana team plays an east coast team that won on a huge comeback in the first round, while the other plays the lower Dakota school that's finally hitting its stride at home after cruising over an overmatched team at home.

Sounds like I'm describing this year, but this is exactly what happened in 2023, with the schools switched.

Then, #2 Montana plays Delaware who came back after being down 28-7 against Lafayette. This time #2 MSU plays Yale who overcame a 42-14 deficit.

Then, defending champ SDSU cruised, while struggling NDSU got sent to Bozeman in the 2nd round after crushing Drake. Now, NDSU is cruising, while struggling SDSU gets sent to Missoula in the 2nd round after crushing UNH.

Sure hope for our sake the script doesn't go the same and we start to diverge, but thought it was really crazy how similar things have turned out.
To add to this, NDSU's next game after beating Montana State was in Vermillion. If SDSU & USD win this weekend SDSU's next game will be in Vermillion.

While I would've preferred to be in the Tarleton/Lehigh part of the bracket, I'm super excited for this matchup and can't wait for it. This game is a semifinal type matchup.

Unsettling omens....its not time for Dan Haggerty's "Gentle Ben" to make an appearance.
