Defensive Scheme

Dude every one of 5280’s last 6-8 posts screams Grok or ChatGPT…every single one. NOBODY talks like that.
Just like lawyers in a court room, I have been using higher level football vocabulary to prove a point. I don’t need ChatGPT. I have been around people who have played and coached the game at a high level enough to pick up a lot of the vocabulary. I can rewrite them in layman’s terms if you would like but they would not have the same effect.

Liar.

That’s not true. I can’t list the awards and honors of my friends. Not can you of your friends. Don’t be stupid. From and Gemini are very good and mostly accurate.
I can list the awards and honors of my friends but they are actually friends and not make believe like yours.

Georgia runs a 3-4. Nebraska and Florida State are the big name programs running the 3-3-5 in the FBS. In the case of Nebraska only Ohio State was better at stopping the pass in the Big 10 but they were poor at stopping the run.
Interestingly, most of the top 25-30 FBS teams all run a 4-2-5 or hybrid thereof...

I can’t list the awards and honors of my acquaintances but I can list the awards and honors of my friends. You seem to be getting the two mixed up.

The griz really didn't run a 3-3-5 base. They played what looked like a 4-3 with hybred players meaning DE/LB and LB/S the WLB generally played a buck end which is the same as the 4-2 front the cats showed most of the time. The interior DT Ramos and Bailey are not smaller than the bobcat interior defensive lineman.
The Miami hurricanes won multiple NC with hybred players like what Montana has.
Oh and you owe me $100. Are you going to stiff me?
Why do I owe you $100 dollars? Almost all 3-3-5's walk a "buck" up to the line except in obvious passing situations when they aren't even pretending to blitz. If you don't show a bluff every now and then you are playing 5 OL on 3 and unless you have Lee Roy Selmon, that shit ain't working. There are lots of times we have 5 on the line, 3-3-5 doesn't change the reality of football.

Who the hell are you? I wasn't responding to you unless you're logged into the wrong account.

I think A nose tackle will almost always be a 1 or 0 tech. If he's playing 1 tech instead of 0 it probably means an under or over front meaning slanted toward the strong side in an over or the weak side in an under. So the 3 tech under tackle is on the strong side in the B gap.
Probably it. Don’t really hear anyone call it that anymore but that’s what I still refer to it as. But as the “3 tech” is the strong side b gap…🤷‍♂️
