To our loyal fans,
Thank you for renewing your season tickets for the 2020 football season and for your patience as we navigate these unprecedented times.
On August 6, 2020, the Big Sky Conference Presidents Council made the difficult decision to postpone the football season due to concerns surrounding COVID-19. We anticipate playing a modified conference schedule in the spring of 2021 with the potential to compete for a national championship. However, we do not currently know all the details regarding the number of games, specific dates, or the allowable capacity of Washington-Grizzly Stadium. Because of these unknowns, we are not offering the option to defer your purchase to spring 2021.
Revenue from football ticket sales, priority seating donations, and sponsorship rights equal $8 million per year. This revenue funds scholarships for the more than 320 student-athletes, and provides much-needed funding to operate the department. We remain committed to providing the resources for all student-athletes to excel in the classroom, in competition, and in the community.
Listed below you will see details on three options to apply to your 2020 football season ticket payment. We ask you please consider donating the cost of your tickets in lieu of a refund or a deferral to the 2021 season. Should you choose to donate, it will be a 100% tax-deductible gift and have a significant positive impact on all student-athletes.
In order to process your request, please complete the form at this link.
If you choose to donate or defer your payment to the 2021 football season, you will lock in pricing for 2021 at the price of the 2020 football season.
If you do not complete your request to donate, defer or get a refund by September 11, 2020, your payment for fall 2020 football will automatically be deferred to the fall 2021 football season.
If you have questions about your options, please contact the Adams Center Ticket Office at 406-243-4051 or 888-MONTANA or via email at [email protected]
Thank you again for your continued support of Grizzly Athletics and our wonderful student-athletes. We are fortunate to have such a passionate and dedicated fan base. Griz Nation is what makes this place so special and on behalf of the entire department, we look forward to seeing you in Washington-Grizzly Stadium soon.
