I talked to ten EWU players down in Frisco who all said, in unison, that the Fargo Shed was way quieter than WaGriz.

But was it colder? And doesn’t blubber absorb a lot of the sound?

Not sure if UM has an Occupational Health or Industrial Hygiene Department but that would be your best bet as they would be the folks who'd have equipment to measure decibels for the purposes of measuring worker exposure limits etc.

I've never understood how stadiums like UDub, KC Chiefs have record decibels over 130 decibels when the record human voice is 113 db according to Guinness or 129 by other sources. I think there is a big inconsistency in how these values are reported especially when you'll see different values reported for Decibel A, B, and C for the same record. Enough science...Go Griz.

That’s one guy who was an obvious plant, and he’s been discredited by 10 others on his team. I talked to them and they told the truth, in unison.

I think they wrap their abdomens in tinfoil to reflect the sound.
 
I would imagine the fact that big poofy jackets and less exposure to concrete and metal will lessen the effect of the noise, despite output being significant.

I watched the 2015 game today and that had great crowd noise throughout the entirety of the day. Man, I hope this games is as fun to be at as that one was.
