Hey now… that’s not how this works remember- the gris are never bad…. The bad teams are just better when they play well against the gris!!

Are you counting close losses as wins now?

Only when their good..... or real good......or possibly elite starting QB gets injured.

Come on....you know all about making excuses for close losses.

Ferris would have beaten the Cats tonight.

Lol. That’s cute! Did Bobby tell you that?

All these posts that your little program would’ve beaten them handily, but you have to zero in on the one post that didn’t agree. Idk if you know, but that reeks of little brother syndrome (LBS). Just FYI.

I think vidlak is showing all the tools, he just needs to have everything click. And it will click. People were saying he doesn't progress through reads, he definitely did that today. He moved incredibly well in the pocket multiple times. Our passing game is going to be very strong by the end of the season.

And McDowell is a stud. I'm a big fan of that kid. Not dissing him at all.

Do you have a crystal ball? That’s impossible to know.

You are correct. It was a prediction based on my observations.

I think this game says a lot more about UM being worse than people thought.

I know that Ferris is the top of D-2, but it's not like they're just blowing everyone away. Last week, they played something called an Ashland and they won by 10. Last season, they split in two contests with a team that goes by Grand Valley State.

Griz fans who expected to stomp them were right in that UM should be able to wreck a team like this, especially at home.

A quick tangent as to why I don't like UW Husky fans. Back when the Huskies were horrible, their board was in an uproar and they were throwing out names for possible coaches. One poster recommended Bobby Hauck, only to have another poster say, "no, we don't need a division II coach", which was followed by a chorus of agreement...only to have the next poster say, "we should hire that Brian Kelly guy". The same Brian Kelly that is now the LSU head coach, and at the time was the Grand Valley State coach.

UW comments sound like too much rain on the brain.

What does that mean? Do you think the top of Division 2 is as good as the top of FCS?

The question is where is Ferris and top of D-2. Where do you slot Ferris in FCS? Many are saying top 25 and playoff team. I think Bobby thinks that what do you think? Vigo, let’s hear what you believe.

I think that Ferris State squad could compete with almost anyone in FCS. Size, speed, talent…if they stopped shooting themselves in the foot and had a QB that could hit the broad side of a barn, they’d be lethal.

Whatever you tell me to believe, Mr. hoopsfan! And thank you in advance for enlightening me.

I think if that were true, they wouldn't routinely play one score games against other D2 football teams.

Does that not make sense to you? Or how would you account for that?

Last year they outscored their opponents 537-219

You can’t even answer that question? Step up. Be a man.

I believe Grand Valley State and Ferris State would be top 30 in the fcs. So the top 2 teams in d2 can compete with the FCS, imo

I could see that, but I also think teams ~25-30 in the FCS suck and should be easy to topple, especially at home.

And? The fact still remains that they had five games against other D2 teams where they either won by 1 score or lost.

What a lot of Griz fans are inadvertently implying by hyping up Ferris State is that UM could probably win the championship game in division 2, but it would be a dog fight.

It would be...Ferris, GVS, NW Missouri State, Pitt State, Mines...all very good teams. And, yes - this current Griz team would, in fact, be in a dog fight in the D2 bracket this season.

With all of the resources that are at the disposal of MSU or UM, that should be a totally unacceptable reality.
