Davis is very good, they played very well, and they thumped us (especially later in the game)

Didn’t Davis get a first down on the play too? Sure, bad penalty but it didn’t matter. I agree on timeout.

You obviously don’t know what being out coached means. If you want to say mistake, fine.

4th and 3 with too many guys on the field. Going for it on 4th down at the end of the half. I could go on and on.

Insisting on using multiple QB’s. Taking a QB who’s in a good rhythm out of the game. Too many players on the field coming out of a timeout on 4th down.
 
I can't figure out what is up with the O. O seems to have leveled off or gone downhill in recent games. The first drive against Davis was truly terrific. Then, a bunch of 3 and outs, one caused by a dropped pass. I understand having to deal with loading the box against the run, but still .... Other than a few tough yards at the end of short runs, Gillman and Ostmo were not able to get anything. As I said, Hauck said Davis controlled the line of scrimmage. At this point of season, the Davis rb, the Cat rb(s) will be all-conference. Maybe the Weber kid is in mix. The Cats are steaming along. We'll see how they do against Davis. Davis was very good last night. The Cats seemed to have been successful in doing well without Mellott having to run too much (and risk injury). His passing and their passing game looks better. He had only 89 yards of passing yesterday on 7-100, but who needs passing if you can run for over 500. He's obviously having a very nice season. He's still dangerous in the run game, even running much less. I haven't watched the Cats much as the season has gone one. The Cat o-line must be producing.

I was disappointed and a bit surprised yesterday, and, of course, concerned, but I'm an optimist. Two important games coming up. Go Griz!

No. Where I was sitting, they were a full yard and a half short. Refs spotted the ball just about 2 yards short while they were waiting on the call from the white hat

I thought of some of those things too. Why does Bobby not play to win more; why is he so conservative. Why does he play not to lose. And then we saw the late try for a TD on 3d and 1, or whatever it was, when we got picked; and the 4th down call late in half. As I said earlier, I wouldn't have done either of those. Most people complaining about Bobby Ball have no clue what they're talking about and just trying to diss Bobby, in my view.

Okay, I thought Davis had clearly gotten the first down. Here's the play by play. It was 4th and 2 and the runner got 2 yards, so couldn't have been 2 yards short. Thx.

4th and 2 at UM 41No Huddle-Shotgun Larison,Lan rush middle for 2 yards gain to the UM 39 (Lee,Jaxon) PENALTY UM Illegal Substitution 5 yards from UM 41 to UM 36, 1ST DOWN. NO PLAY.
