Davidson game thread

So, how tall is Jake and who is usually on him? He's eating our lunch. Glad we are somewhat keeping up. Hope we can make some adjustments at half to make someone else beat us rather than this Cohen guy.
 
We had 8 turnovers this half to Davidson's 1. We've got to stop the turnovers and make some of our own in the second half.
 
This is the worse our paint defense has been all year. They are killing us inside and transition. The bright side, our defense can only get better ( I hope), in the 2nd half. Offensively, pretty solid 1st half without Ward and Cherry. Jamar taking the game over offensively, and looking good when we need him to be good. Martin, Hutchison, and Gregory all did well offensively filling in for Mathias.

Not very often our defense is our weak link. This game that has been the case.

Cherry will get a fresh slate in the 2nd half. He will impact our defense for the better. His defense is usually goof for an extra 6 to 8 points per game resulting from defense. He got screwed on 1 foul they called. The other foul could have not been called too, but he put the refs in the position to blow the whistle with a dumb arm fling on offense.
 
Sure hope they figure out some of this rebounding/paint D for the second half. TO's are killing the Griz, lets hope there is some magic in the second half!
 
Strangely, I feel satisfied and optimistic with a 9 point deficit at half. I guess I'm thinking it could be so much worse.

We can steal this one back!

Me too, offense looks solid and consistent. Defense is has to be better. All that takes usually is Tinkle chewing ass, which is needed. Defense was almost non existent with the exception of Martin in his 1st rotation. Team defense just not doing well.
