Dareon Nash Stepping Up

We all gushed over Calhoun last week (well deserved) Let's give Nash the props he has earned. Wow our secondary is coming up big 2 games in. Nash and Calhoun are both so smooth and I think because of that smoothness people forget that Dareon is 6'2" 190lbs......the NFL wont forget that though Remember Dante stole an INT from Dareon last week that couldve gone for 6. LOVE this kids talent and production so far.

Yup, Nash is playing well and had a great game. Some posters have been saying all along that he would be good. I thought he was good last season. One or more other backups made some nice players at corner yesterday too.

Corners have been locking it down. The majority of receptions allowed have come from the safeties and backers/D lineman.

I admit I was very, very, very concerned with corner play. Now I actually feel good about it (Calhoun move was huge in helping).

Yeah, I'm not sure we've even given up a long pass play with 1-on-1 coverage by a CB.

Some of that was due to lack of pressure which was better against Drake.

There are no zones that don't have holes, just like there is no man to man that can take away everything. As others have said the keys are reaction to your "1/11th" and pressure up front.

I posted last season, that I wouldn't be surprised if he became an all conference to all American type CB. I was on his bandwagon last season. It is great to see him and Calhoun developing into terrific CB's.
