Dante Olson draft round!

Really poor 40 yard time is going to hurt him. You can’t be a player in the league at that position at 4.88 speed. Just too slow for coverage.

7th round or priority free agent.

Wow, one pec and he sets the school record for tackles and wins the Buchanan. We need to find someone with no pecs!

I'd do it but I'm waiting for a call from the NBA. Picking my full sleeve tats as we talk.

are you going to play in empty arenas to help reduce coronavirus transmission, or are you going to skip it like lebron, who won't show up unless there is someone to cheer for him?

Gee, he's so 'slow' but manages to be on the scene at every tackle, practically. Maybe a more telling 40 time would be 5 forward, 5 back, 10 lateral, 5 forward, 5 back, 10 lateral. Who the hell on defense is running 40 yards straight forward? Only the guy that misread the play and is trying to run down a back/receiver. Maybe I'm crazy?

Come on man...even the biggest homers of homers can acknowledge it is important and that mark does not mean the greatest of things for Dante.

For reference, Peyton Manning ran a 4.8 40 compared to Dante’s 4.88. Let that sink in for a second.

It matters....Manti Teo ran a 4.82 and it showed in the NFL. Guy was a tackling machine in college. Consensus First Team All-American, Heisman Runner Up etc, but didn’t have the speed to play in the NFL.

Same deal with Dante. He’s a huge liability in coverage.....sorry man but facts are facts. The guy is super slow for the NFL.

Manti has been in the league since he was drafted.

Ya....I guess. He’s played in 8 games the last two years.

I think Dante can make a roster, but he’s a 7th round/UDFA at best. Sorry. Guy was a great FCS player, but he just doesn’t have the athleticism necessary for the position. Way too slow. There were a few offensive lineman who had better 40 times this year at the combine.

A) There was 1 (One) faster OL

B) You are basing everything on the 40, but also talking about athleticism, which means you have no idea what you're talking about.

C) Isn't there a Corn field or something to play in over there? You're so bored that you're on a site of a team your team hasn't played in years?

Eh....call it what you want, but that 40 time was pretty telling. I guess don’t take my word for it. Read the analyst reports

You didn't answer C.

After observing it's clear this clown doesn't realize how utterly pathetic he is.

I live in Western Montana. Not a lot of cornfields to play in.

I have no dog in this fight but you are way off base. He very possibly could go late or undrafted but it wont have anything to do with the 40 time he ran. Everybody especially the scouts no that the 40 on a laser is an art form and you can lose 1 to 5 tenths by simply not having the training on the start. The laser starts on first movement. If the head or arm moves before the legs the clock starts. His pro day time will be much better.
Scouts are more concerned with the shuttle, L cone vertical and broad jump.

Know not no.

That is why they run it twice. His first time was 4.89. Second time was 4.88. He's slow for NFL standards at the position. No way to try to spin it otherwise.

That’s why we put him in the middle of the field. Not as much ground to cover in every direction.

Yep and that is why he compiled a lot of tackles at the FCS level and is not viewed with much potential in the NFL.

In the NFL, he will be pressed to do much more. He'll be a liability in coverage and also offers limited upside for rushing the passer.

When does sub 4.4 Jabril Cox cure cancer? Because that's the only thing missing now....

The great thing is Olson could actually cure cancer, and our “totally not insecure” friend 2011 would run to eGriz and start posting that Cox would’ve cured it sooner if he would’ve picked a different major. That’s how his mind works.

Let me quote 2011 to himself. “Jesus Christ just stop.” This isn’t the GD Bezon board. Nobody on here besides you cares about Cox. There are no reasoned arguments on a free-for-all message board. Only trolls.
