Buss and Banks, and Buss, Banks and Strahm, was a very strong group of linebackers.

Agreed, as were Coyle, Tripp and Kanongata'. My pumping the pair of Buss and Olsen up was in no way meant to say that any other group were not excellent as well.

Dante is #3 nationally (NCAA stats) in Total Tackles, with 29, officially. #2 guy has 31, #1 has 35.

He is tied for #6 in Sacks and tied for #11 in Tackles For Loss.

Oddly enough (or maybe not), he is not listed in the top-50 in Solo Tackles. That's probably because he wraps up and then another Griz arrives to finish flattening the ball-carrier. One of the joys of watching this Griz D is how they all swarm to the ball. A ball carrier who dances around too much is likely to end up with 6-8-10 Griz sitting on his chest. :lol:
